Scarface has been locked up without bail since October because he owes a shitload in back child support for multiple children from multiple women. It's a sad situation all around, but to me, the lack of support for Scarface is only adding insult to injury. The man didn't kill anyone for no reason or anything like that. And nobody knows the real story but him and the whores he slept with. As usual, nobody blames the golddiggers that go to these concerts with the premeditated intention of getting pregnant by rappers they assume are rich. Lil Wayne was in this same situation around the time the Carter 3 came out. Lucky for him, he was at the height of his career and making a lotta folks a lotta money. Therefore his situation got swept under the rug. 'Face unfortunately was not at the height of his career and no longer making a lotta folks money. Out of sight, out of mind. To me, it's another crime that Scarface is not rich. It might be his own fault, but I find it pretty sad that an influential rapper like 'Face, who's had platinum and gold albums solo and as a member of the Geto Boys, is broke. Not to mention he was the president of Def Jam South, where he signed Ludacris and was about to sign Haystak before the label fell apart. He should be able to live good off of The Diary royalties alone. The Rap-A-Lot curse strikes again.

And it doesn't surprise me that you hadn't even heard about this. The only thing I've seen mentioned was a short article on this website.
