Training Day vs The Departed... Which film was better?

The Departed was just a good film, nothing spectacular.

And SMH at that being the film Scorsese wins his first Oscar for.

i dont know what it is about the departed, but for the life of me i just cant enjoy it that much....i think it may be because before i bought it on DVD everyone was hyping it up to be something amazing, and then when i watched it it was just ok.....Training Day on the other hand, compared to his other films i dno if it was oscar worthy but it was definately a grreat film....ima go with Alonzo on this one

I think the Departed was extremely overhyped, it was a make up movie for Scorsesse being fucked over for the Academy Award so many years. Training Day is a better movie imo, that Denzel character was just too damn real to the point where i felt bad for the nigga dying. lmfao

LOL...The more you think about it the more i think Denzel was over hyped in his role, also i think its easier to be a bad guy because you get the best lines in general and can just be a bastard and people will love it.
