1) Anthony Davis- Kentucky: A couple of scouts have said he's the best big man prospect they've seen at this age in TEN YEARS. Dude's length, athleticism, and defense should be what makes him the #1 pick in the draft next year. I've only seen him a couple of times but he looks like a better version of John Henson to me. Did I mention he's a freshman and he plays for John Callipari(spelling)??
2) Austin Rivers- Duke: You already mentioned him. He should have a good year but he's not going to be able to do some of the things he did @ Winter Park. I think he'll show out in the 2nd half of the season.
3) Harrison Barnes- North Carolina: Again you mentioned him. Had a good second half and has that effortless game. Theres nothing he can't do he just need to show he's great and not just good. I don't know if he's athletic enough to be a REALLY GOOD nba player.
4) Perry Jones III- Baylor: Last year I expected him to be the standout freshman and well, he just wasn't that good IMO. Every game I watched he struggled passing out of double teams and looked uncomfortable with his back to the basket. Some games he looked straight lost(I don't think his coach helped much either). He has a lot of work to do but there aren't many players with a higher ceiling.
5) Jared Sulinger- Ohio State: He slimmed down and looks like he got in a lot better shape(n.h.) over the summer. He was a beast last year and will be again. Like Barnes though I wonder how his athleticism will translate to the pros.
6) Jeremy Lamb- Connecticut: Has the look of an nba player and got better and better as the year went on. He was kind of overlooked because of Kemba but I think he'll be a better NBA player than Kemba in the future.
7) Andre Drummond- Connecticut: Fuckin BEAST. Dude has all the size, natural talent, and athleticism to potentially dominate @ the next level and I'm not gonna lie I fucking HATE the fact that he's playing for UCONN.
8) Ashton Gibbs- Pitt: I had to throw a Pitt player in here. If you're talking NBA it's another convo but he can shoot the lights out and is a great player. Should be a 1st or 2nd team all-american
9) Terrence Jones- Kentucky: His leadership stepped up towards the end of the year but I still think he's a hardheaded dude. Needs to develop his jumper(and his mechanics) but besides that he can do everything on the court. He can play defense when he really wants to and has the length to cause a lot of problems.
10) Thomas Robinson- Kansas
---- no order. There are other freshman I missed, quincy miller, mcadoo, gilchrist, etc. but I either don't consider them to be the top 10 in CBB or don't know enough about them yet......
