similar to the 80s when alo of our R&B greats where doing Pop music like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Lionel Richie, Prince, New Edition, and more. now a days R&B singers like Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Usher, Chris Brown, & Keri Hilson are making Pop songs.but really Pop music means the "popular" music at the time. Just like soul legends The Supremes, Marvine Gaye, & Stevie Wonder have songs that are considered "pop" classics because they were the popular songs and artist at the time.
