This makes me feel better 'bout the situation. If he's willing to sign an extension, I'm sure he's ready to ball. At least mentally. Physically is a whole other thing.

thunder paid too much for a center with about two bad wheels..good for perk..but possibly bad business for the thunder.

I thought he hated OKC though...

celtics ain't want to pay him all that money because once the big 3 is gone his game would be useless...okc is younger and needed a big to do the dirty work for durant and wetsbrook and ibaka

Good for him. He is with two youguns that will tear up the league for the next decade. The best way to look good in the NBA is to be a shadow behind elite players.

Anybody gonna admit the Cs got Jeff green, ray allen, glenn davis, kristic and the clippers 1st rounder for kendrick perkins? He only averages 7ppg and 8 boards?

Is that not value?

Lmao Perkins was a product of having 3 hall of famers with him his game is about to get exposed he takes forever to go up with a shot, has terrible hands, has no post game and can't shoot free throws they overpaid for perk

I am becoming a believer in the radio host I heard the other day saying they will be the new version of the Drexler Trailblazers. All the right pieces but just not enough to get it done.

plus he's from Texas so OKC will feel like home to him.

I can't wait for the playoffs now, OKC won't be playing San Antonio and L.A. in the first round.

I think they might play Denver or Dallas in the first round.

when you play with4 stars your number are obviously gonna look deflated and everyone knows his presence and hustle override his stats

its a good look for the thunder though they desperately needed someone like him to clog up the lane and cause havoc defensively...hopefully he stays healthy

But looking back, all that for one player who you werent going to keep anyways? I love what perk brought to the Cs and he will be missed, but this was kinda lopsided in hindsight

Perkins value may not show up in the box score but he is a valuable asset to any team.
They have scoring with Westbrook, Durant, Harden and Ibaka who is developing nicely. What they need is a someone who can rebound and play defense. Not to mention that his minutes in Boston were limited because of his offensive liabilities. In OKC he can play more because they will not need to remove him for offensive purposes as they have multiple options on that side of the ball.
