In people like @A1000MILES case, they apparently feel that porn has warped/molded their sense of sexual excitement to the point where they can only be aroused by the sexual acts seen in porn, many of which are unrealistic with everyday casual sex (or shit even sex with a spouse).

In my case, the unrealistic expectations thing with porn was one of the reasons for me. Personally porn was killing my motivation for pursuing. Why pursue when I can just watch porn, jack off, and probably get a better nut than fucking?

Thing is though, as a single young man, that shit is hazardous to your social growth. Then there's the internal shame with porn and masturbation that most people have. Who likes living like that?

And finally, porn really does objectify women, at least in my case. I found that I was having trouble forming lasting bonds with chicks if sex wasn't an option or even an immediate option. I know this is the IC and all where niggas have no chicks they're on a friendly basis with and fuck all of their female acquaintances, but in my case, i wouldn't mind being on a friendly basis with more women. Whether sex is involved or not. Variety in your social life makes for a better social life and that's what i'm aiming for.

I've been trying to be a better person period, and this is one of the drastic steps I think can get me there.
