The grudge had more to it. The ring was good but the main and nearly only highlight was when samara came out the tv

Ringu was creepy as fuck n it was all about the alien atmosphere and growing sense of dread right up to 'that' climax which the American version totally missed the point of, but I guess of you watch the American version first then it just ruins the original version for you.
