There game is saturated with too many artist that "THINK" they made it.

Back in the days we use to rap n freestyle with each other now the internet came along and everybody n they dogs n cats wanna Rap.

Also the main thing that's killing the game is what we are doing right now, with the Internet. INSTANT everything. Dont gotta go out n get that mixtape or listen to the radio. Fucked p.

hell yea, u aint gotta buy a cd, when u can go to youtube... and they say, everyone has one hit song in them.... they letting anybody and everybody on tv, now-a-days...

It's too easy to make rap music, it takes no ability to compose or write music, play an instrument, or actually sing. That's why you have mfs with make shift studios in their bathrooms and uploading their shit to myspace and youtube. There is no quality control/ a and r, so crap gets slipped through the cracks.

You can say the Internet is killing the game but it's also helping the game cause artist that are being held back by their labels can just drop mixtapes or songs via the net to give their fans music, so yea it hurts the game but it also helps the game.

all of yall got some points... there is no quality control.. one of my guys is always tryna freestyle n he says the most outrageous ridiculously wack things (compareable to Lil B) n noone around him ever tells him how wack he is.. i aint sayin that my nigga is killin hiphop im just tryin to prove a point that in our normal lives and in the main stream there is no quality control over hiphop music, everyone thinks theyre the next big thing..

It wouldn't be so bad if on the radio, we would hear a Wakka record then a Jay Electronica record followed by a Lil B record then Little Brother record. But no its Wakka, then Gucci, then Lil B, the New Boys back to back to back. So the new generation of aspiring rappers feel there is no need to have a certain level of skill if I can just rap like Wakka or Gucci.

Back when mainstream showed balance, it gave the aspiring artists the impression that you needed to spit in order to get on.

how can yall say there is no quality control?
your ears should be all the quality control you need
niggas stay complainin about the radio but will turn right the fuck around and say they don't listen to the radio
so what's the problem?
i think niggas just like whinin about shit

if people didnt whine about shit, shit wouldnt get done. Not that you'll ever get a concept like that though...

Who dictates what is on the radio and tv? Who dictates what is hot and what is not? Who dictates what artists get signed and what artists do not? Who defines hip hop to the masses? RECORD LABELS
