There is a difference in his skill level from back in 2003 in comparison to now. Blind or not, his ability to rap off the top has dramatically improved. And his flows stepped up as well. You may see the blindness as being a gimmick, but it's not something that he chose to be. He was born blind and you shouldn't hold that against him. Look at him at Mtv and then look at him on BET and you'll see that he has Joe Budden syndrome: the longer he sits on the shelf, the better he gets.
