imo smack and beasley and crew are very professional ... its the people (artist) they deal with that arent professional ... real ish ... i went thru the same ish trying to throw local parties ... always needed extra security ... when in reality i should be able to do the ish with little to no security ... but you cant do it like that when you do it for the hood ... mess around and get caught slipping and cant handle a meelee thats is more than likely guaranteed to happen ... smh ... in addition it make it harder for the company to make $$$$$$ ... and shit the more the company make ... the more the EMPLOYEES CAN GET PAID !!!!!! but they dont usually see it like that ... the see the lights the cameras and the action and thinking that automatically = the company is cashing out LOL !!!! ... thats just the company setting the scene to GET THE GREEN ...!!!!!!!! but if you got idiots working for u ... who bring out more idiots that are there just for the action and not being a consumers of the SHOW and BEVERAGES !!!!!! aint no $$$$$$$ getting made or if it is your just getting a return on your investment @ best or maybe taking a short loss WTF ..................

Never mind alot of the shit I hear now is how hard and gangsta a nigga and his crew is over his opponent...shit sounds like I'm listening to rappers spitting Mixtape street tale verses which isnt bad cause I fuck with MC's that spit street shit musically but when nearly every nigga on the battle circuit does it when they battle, it becomes repetitive and corny.

Cant aruge that. The personal stuff is cool but when the verses go into how they gun go off etc shit does get wack. But a lot of them dudes come up with some creative Shit

@antarticp completely agree while sometimes i think they can be corny smack and beasley get the big picture of the more professional=the more money they can get. they also have the business smarts to be realistic about running the company and how to book venues and how to promote.

I remember loaded lux was bitching about being paid all this money on Vlad TV and simply thinking if the url just threw pay per view streams they could make X amount of money to pay him more and make more money. But then beasley came back on a follow up interview spitting the realistic costs of setting up battles and how expensive ppv streams are.

I hardly watch as much URL as i used to and part of the reason is because the artists and the crowds at the shows are really starting to get played out. Cats have 20 mins each of writtens but only 5 mins of the lines hit hard or can be heard over the booing crowd.

King of the Dot is even cornier.. What I seen to me is the dumbing down of battle rap by the new era., the thing I mentioned in my other posts would have gotten a mc booed and/or laughed out the building and disqualified. Fucking up your verse and starting over, having terrible flow and delivery, your whole verse being written is acceptable now.
