I will say this about surf.. his aggressiveness on stage overshadows the fact that he does spit a lot of average bars. And he does need to work a lot on his rebuttals. 'Makes it easier to put this AR across his chest' was meh.. got waaaay too gassed up (credit to battlefix)..I do give him props tho for trying cause a lot of niggas just go straight into their next verse.

Now lookin back at his battle with conceited (which imo he won), was one of his better, more consistent performances. If we got that surf more often, I don't think yall would have a problem mentioning him with other top tier cats. I do (consider him top tier) because I see the potential.. we'll see how he does in his next battle, hopefully against hitman.. an impressive showing against another top tier opponent will prove if he belongs with them or not

I was catchin up on the Aye Verb v. Ars battle updates on battlerapfix.com. Ars tweeted out something like, "If you can only get a debatable W in your hometown, that's an L" .. do yall think this is a valid theory? I think so, but you guys in here got waaaaaaaay more knowledge than I do to say this is right

I got YK winning the first round. The last two rounds were close IMO. I'd have to watch again to be sure about the battle as a whole.

YK used that terrorist/tear a wrist shit that Chilla Jones used...ironically in his battle vs. Ciddy.

The "you're from the burbs" angle is kinda wack to me if that's supposed to be the punchline.

Ciddy has some good stuff that people don't fully acknowledge but he also has some struggle bars when it comes to overdoing schemes or stretching pronunciation.

YK definitely does schemes but he delivers them better IMO.
