I think they both got overly femotional to be honest. Not impressed at all when a grown man "lashes out" emotionally because somebody did something to him that he doesn't like.

That's feminine. We're supposed to have better control over our emotions than those that harbor vaginas. *shrug*

What he said in the interview was neither clever nor etherous like what an Ali, Deion, or even on a lower scale -- a Mayweather -- would do or say. It was just a dude with pint up emotions (and maybe a few substances) spewing it out. And because it was unorthodox and brash, impressionable nikkas were impressed.

And as for Crabtree. Payback. I knew that bish nikka from way back. He been a homotional, cocky, asshole since Taco Tech. He high steps, shucks and jives when he's balling on you, and then lashes out when the tables are turned.

If anything, what we saw yesterday was a male version of some ghetto reality show confrontation.

Winning the NFC Championship game ain't a normal emotional moment. Adrenaline going, you're going to be more hyped up then you normally would. Notice Sherman got calmer with each interview he did as he came down off the "high" of the game.

His reaction was seperate from "winning the NFC championship". It was 100% personal, and emotional based on being shunned on national TV by an opposing player.

If Crabtree would've shook his hand - this would be a non issue. Reminds me of when a nikka tries to holla at a broad, she disses him, and suddenly he start poppin' shit about her like she's suddenly the ugliest/wackest bish he ever seen in his life ---- just because he's butthurt.

This reaction was identical with how he handled the Roddy White situation (which he lost in more ways than one) and the Trent Williams situation (which was just a wild card win.) and the Tom Brady situation (which was just a early regular season game.)

The nature of the game had nothing to do with it.

All facts.

However, I do find it entertaining and hilarious. Impactful, no. And in his position, Crabtree shouldn't have let it get to him.

True. I felt the same way about Trent Williams. It was hilarious how he punked him, but still he let that man drag his emotions out for everybody to see. I feel like when that happens you already lawst for the most part.

But what do you expect when you interview someone soon after they win something

Bart Scott's reaction >>>> Sherman.

It was focused, clever, and clear. If you would've asked him the same question 3 hours later he would've answered it the same way.

Tyson? That's Mike Tyson, nuff said.

The way Richard Sherman is, and if the story is true about Crabtree trying to start shit with Sherman during the offseason, he probably would have still said something even if Crabtree shook his hand. He just would have included getting Crabtree to shake his hand as part of of what he said lol. Of course it was personal, plenty personal battles happen in sports. I just don't see the point in trying to make it a bad thing to have a player react emotionally. People ain't robots and it's not like his emotions led to him making a mistake that cost them the game.

My point ain't that he shouldn't have said anything. That's what you're missing.

If he would have subtracted his personal emotions from it, he would have been able to put together some REAL ether in the post game interviews that would've made Crabtree's soul really burn slow. Instead he just went off the handle and sounded scorned.

Missed opportunity, IMO. But I'm sure the Love&Hip-Hop/Housewives of Whatever crowd got a kick out of it.

I don't see what he said as "ether" though...just him talking shit the same way Crabtree talked shit about him w/o even knowing Sherman had made some comments about him after the game talking about "We were open all game on him. Go look at the film"....The ether was him making the play on Crabtree itself after the shit talking between them. The play was the ether...the interview was just him being hyped up. AIn't like he had time to prepare something to say, he was speaking on pure emotion and adrenaline. Erin Andrews grabbed him for the interview moments after the game stopped.

Wassup with this imaginary Niners/Raiders beef Menace stay talking about?

Must be some local shit.

It's deeper than that.

I thought I told everyone?

well for the 1038474632923904th time.

I'm the only Raider fan in a whole entire family full of niner fans. And it's a Bay Area thing Raider and Niners are a rivalry and they play each other in the season every 5 years.

But my fam gets under my skin with all the shit talking. When I go over their houses during the playoff games I get questions like

"What time the raiders play today? Oh wait"

And when the niner lose they be like "at least our team made it where's yours?"

Niner are on a quest for 6 and they say The Raiders on a quest for 6 wins...

"They used to laugh and call me ugly"

There's more to this shit its deeper than rap.
