fuck!! texans re-signed myers and the rams got wells. we really had a chance to make a splash in the offseason by upgrading our interior o-line and defense and yet we put all that on the backburner for a qb coming off of an injury who we havent even gotten yet. thanks bud. if u really wanted to win u shouldve gone all out

I'm cool with Abe coming back. I'm sure he didn't get that 12 millie he was asking for (at least I hope not.)

He was the second best option behind Mario and at least we get the continuity.

We're looking at McNeil for OT. I say we still go after a young, fast DE in the 2nd or 3rd round. 'Cause Abe will be on a pitch count.

Maybe a nickelback. A real offseason/camp will do wonders for us offensively. And all I ask of our defense is that we get more aggressive. And that has nothing to do with personnel on the field.

Yep, 3 years, 21 millie.

Not too far from what he was already getting. And he'll probably never see the last year of that deal.

lol @ him thinking he would get 12 mill per year.

Jewish owner FTW.

I don't know why I thought we had more than 6 mill left

We did, but this is after all of the players we re-signed and the new cats like Manuewi (sp?) and Tatupu.

Six millie ain't bad considering it ain't too many good players left to choose from.

On to the draft....

How the fuck were the cardinals going to sign manning with 400k

It's deeper than that. The cap can be manipulated with the structure of contracts -- especially signing bonuses.

And don't forget the wave of veteran cap casualties that happen every year in late summer.

You can tell it wasn't alot of free agents in this class by all the teams with cap space

I knew this would be a slow FA year because of the bullshit from last offseason.

But I expect the veteran cap-casualties to be above average. A lotta GMs are gonna be quick to pull the trigger if they see a high-paid vet half-assin' in the camps (coupled with younger, cheaper players stepping up.)

I'm just glad everybody gets a real offseason again.

Yea a lot of old niggas gon be job less when they start OTA and minicamps

I know Shanle might get cut and Vilma also.

Unless Vilma redo his deal thats the only way he staying.

Will Smith redid his deal so i know Vilma always hurt ass gotta real do his

They already said sam baker is staying so the only one I can see getting cut is ovie

They better not cut ovie. Dude is a pro-bowl FB. Only way he gets cut is if the injury took 2 or 3 steps from him. Fullbacks can play longer with lower body injuries than halfbacks.

I can still see Sam Baker gettin' chopped up with a weak camp performance. Plus you got Peria Jerry who is officially on bust-watch.

And I wouldn't trust what Dimitroff says in the public. He denied trade-up rumors last year before the draft, and this year he claimed that we would be "very active" in free-agency.

I like what he's doing so far, but you can only go by what he does, not what he says.
