If ginobli shows up spurs in 6...everything Indiana does good spurs do better, and everything Indiana does bad spurs do good.

Heat gonna have to earn this one, series is very similar to lakers celtics 2010

U just dumb as fuck

Article about Stephen Jackson and where he's at now seeing his former team reach the Finals
http://www.expressnews.com/sports/c...from-reality-4577343.php?t=ed0bae410f927fc3fb

He began this past season looking slower, and his shooting percentages fell. So did his minutes. He admits now he sparred with Popovich for about half the season. And after Popovich released him just days before the regular season ended, Jackson posted this on Instagram:

“I would never say a player is better than me when I know their (sic) not. Not for no one. #uandiknowwhatsgoingon”

Tuesday he revealed who he was talking about: Danny Green and Manu Ginobili.

Jackson insists Popovich wanted him to admit Green and Ginobili were better. More than likely, Popovich simply told Jackson they were better. That's why they were playing instead of him.

Pride wouldn't let Jackson accept that, and he admitted as much Tuesday. After showing the initial flash of anger when talking about Popovich, he later said Popovich knows him well, and that the release “was best for me so I wouldn't go crazy.”

Or, as Jackson said Tuesday, again smiling, “I wouldn't want me on the team, either.”

U just dumb as fuck

U just don't know basketball you casual ass fan, sit the fuck down

Indiana turns it over too much, spurs don't

Indiana's offense was stagnant and disrupted by traps, the spurs isn't

And you need to disregard comparing and EASTERN CONFERENCE team's rebounding stats to a western conference teams, west has all the big boys...and east stays bricking jump shots cuz they are a small weak conference with 1 legit team.

Splitter and Duncan are just as good if not better than west and Hibbert on boards...but you wouldn't know cuz u casual fan who never watches the spurs...probably refers to them as old and boring #smh

Spurs shoot 3's well, Indiana not so much.

Indiana runs facets of the triangle offense (the only times they were most effective)

SPURS RUN FACETS OF THE TRIANGLE OFFENSE....BUT BETTER.

you need to get off the ps3 and learn real basketball lil nigga, let me learn you a lesson.

Someone in the cheap seats saying I don't know basketball, oh the hilarity. Stick to cowboys games or whatever the fuck it is you Do, cuz talking ball aint it son.

Its fascinating. Its cliche, and it's 'talking sports out my ass' 101. Everybody knows 'Pop' is a great bball mind, so thats the low hanging fruit anyone can cling to w/out giving ANY details on what he can actually do

If Pop was the coach of the Lakers this year, it's a guarantee they wouldn't be the 8th seed...

Some coaches just demand more respect from players, play harder for their coach.... That's really the MAIN part...

Then you factor in better X's / O's, in game adjustments and shit your regular casual fan might not see (because we are not inside the huddle), of course a coach can have a big impact on a game, even more so than most players...

Perfect Example: Frank Vogel took out Roy hibbert in Game 1, Heat win.... What if Pop was the Pacers coach, and he left hibbert in, and they won? That's an X and O decision by the coach that can DIRECTLY affect the outcome of a game.... And these type of decisions happens hundreds of times in a series..... So don't be so quick to be dismissive of the power of a coach....

They make hundreds of adjustments... We don't know which ones and when and which worked... We only see ones that get highlighted, like Vogel leaving out Hibbert. Imagine hundreds more of those.... This leads to wins... this leads to championships (plural)... Shit a lot of coaches don't have.

Thus, all we can do is go based off his track record (win percentages and titles).

#education

So basically you're saying Pop can do stuff that you and I dont know of, so we better just give him the benefit of the doubt and keep throwin out vague, cliche statements on how Pop will 'cook somethin up'

If u gon try to kick knowledge, bring somethin to the table. Yall keep sayin this 'casual fan' shyt but your contributions ARE casual.

I'd respect ya'll more if ya'll told me he'll collapse the paint when Lebron drives right, but not when he goes left...or he'll double him early in the post...play Leonard at the 4...take advantage of Wade and Ray Allen on pick n rolls...Give me sumthn.

A chick who barely follows sports said to me 'Aren't the Spurs the one with the really good coach?'. I should have her sign up, her contributions would fit right in.

I'm sorry imbecile, but I'm not getting paid to study all of pops games and see how he plays certain schemes... It would take 40 hours a week of studying tape year round to know exactly what he does and when, I don't have that much time on my hands....

But if ESPN wanted to pay me $300k a year for starters, I'd certainly come break it down to your retarded ass...

This nigga act like people that are getting paid don't break this shit down... Like Jaws in football, Tim Legler in basketball... These niggas get PAID to give the details and intricacies...

Bro, just give it up... You lost this one.. I know I made you feel like an ass, so you came back with the desperate attempt to tell me to break down some individual plays... You lost this argument. Now deal with it and go kick rocks.

Too many casual fans in here. How can 2 teams who averaged over 100 ppg be a snooze fest. This series should be exciting

both teams are defense oriented...this will be a "slow" game IMO,

just becuz you average 100 pts in the regular season means what again???

From a coaching stance point, Pop is going to try and exploit matchups and you can't do this by "running" you have to make the game become half-court, and this is why I stated it may end up being a snooze fest...alot of feeding Tim Duncan in the post and parker off screens...

Oh, and besides all that, I also said Respect and motivation were the main aspects of a coach... This fuck boy simply glossed over that point.

So niggas acting like the Spurs have the physical style of play inside to replicate Indy now. Lol like they're gonna go away from what got them to the finals with going through Parker. The Spurs are a perimeter team, cut the bullshit.

If this is a snooze fest matchup, who would you rather have in the finals from the east if not Miami?

Naw

All he's saying is good coaching does make a difference. We all know that the players have to execute on the floor. This is not a pick up game though. A good coach will draw up the blueprint for them to execute.

They're not just sitting on the bench for moral support. The Miami players didnt just decide to double team Hibbert in the middle of the game and do full court traps to make Hibbert ineffective in game 7 & expose the lack of a true PG on Indian's squad. They were told to do that and it help the Heat blow their ass out.

Got damnit, look at the bolded. You used FIVE cliches all sayin the same exact thing smh Lmao Do you see where im comin from??

Stop explaining whats already explained! Let's raise the bar fellas.

I overstand all your points. But no matter how impt the jockey is, its the horses that win the race.

i.e. when Steph Curry was healthy, Pop's "blueprint" still had Steph out there lookin like Jerry West...

I mean folk, it's an opinion not a fact...It may be a good series but I think it's a snooze fest on the strength of both teams will slow the game down...and dig into their matchups

Honestly this is the best matchup of the final four that would be the most exciting to watch and that's not speaking volume..

After Game 2, it'll start to show, IMO more so...on paper it looks exciting but when the ball gets tossed and X's and O's are applied things will change...
