This one was one track that I finally found years ago and still jam it on my Ipod till this day called "AfterHours" by Ronny Jordan and been a fan ever since. @mrrealone thanks for your participation. I know about Ronny Jordan I heard after hours before it's a pretty mellow tune. Here's a tune with karen briggs and stanley clarke Karen briggs is phenomenal with the violin. Also here is a tune from a group called the kora jazz trio they utilize the West African instrument called the Kora I'd like to learn how to play it eventually

Here's a couple of tunes from one of my all time favorite pianists Hiromi Uehara
This one starts off a lil slow but when it picks up it is just musical excellence
This one is more upbeat and dynamic it's my personal favorite her piano solo is insane
I highly recommend listening to Hiromi and Chick Coreas duet album called deja vu
Also here is a much more mellow tune from George duke called It's on with Marcus Miller and Lee Ritenour

My favorite genre... I know for a FACT that when I get older in age, this is what I'll be listening to more then anything. Jazz was the first thing I ever listened to. My parents didn't like rap and really didn't want me listening to it at such an early age. Honestly, I didn't really start listening to (and enjoying) Hip Hop until I was maybe 11 or 12. Without Jazz, their wouldn't be Hip Hop, period.
