Like I said, that's what you believe but realize it's not fact. BB to me is more of a Batman movie than TDK, which is why I like it more.

I'll have to agree, BB reinvented Batman as did the 89 version , the TDK feels all atmosphere and good acting except two-face bits but feels like BATMAN was just squeezed into the film, kinda like it was another movie and they just adapted the script to batman, it was not really a super hero film to my mind.

This nigga knows what he's talking about. I don't understand how anyone can say with a straight face that Batman 89' or Superman is NEARLY as good as TDK. Batman 89 and Superman are good COMIC BOOK films. TDK is a great film PERIOD.

Will have to say I prefer Watchmen and Batman begins to the Dark knight, i think it is over hyped..plus Heath ledger was not actually a .Joker! his portrayal was just a fucking nutcase..who i expected to say " HERES JOHNNY" ala the Shining ( or however it went ), i swear the joker in anyone media form.....laughs a lot!

Punisher :Warzone was entertaining for its ridiculousness, but ur trippin saying its better than TDK, to each his own, though. Whoevers saying Nicholson's Joker was trash...GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE, Heath Ledger even said himself when he was preparing to play Joker, he had to make an effort to try not to sound like Jack's Joker. Heath Ledger did a great job, but Nicholson's portrayal is classic, straight up. I love TDK and thought it was a fantastic film as much as the next man, but whats with the whole "its grounded in reality" element being used to put it over the other good comic based films, yeah, that is a very intriguing and unique element to the film, but why does that hold so much weight with ya'll? The comics which this is based on isnt even completely grounded in reality but that doesnt take any thing away from it. And why dont movies like Sin City, A History of Violence, V for Vendetta, Road to Perdition, Batman Returns, Men in Black, The Crow, Scott Pilgrim Vs the World, Hellboy, or even Ghost World, Oldboy, or the first Turtles movie get the notoriety they deserve as good comic/graphic novel film adaptions on here?

Yea the Captain America original movie wasn't that great but I kinda liked it as a kid. I LOVED "The Flash" television show. It was only on for 1 season and I was really sad when it was cancelled. They need to do a "FLASH" movie, with today's effects it could end up a really dope comic flick. What's crazy is Hollywood is really "HIGH" on Comic/Super Hero movies cause the material is just so endless, there are so many adaptations still out there that would make great movies.

This point right here is the reason why TDK doesn't reach Superman 1 status. I'm not a fan of this realistic take on Batman. But I do respect Nolan and give props on him making a good film. But that is all.
