Granted new powers and enhancement by the Bast (Goddess), he is no longer the Black Panther for Wakanda but has become the King of the Dead. All his peak human powers have been enhanced to superhuman levels.

Black Panther Knowledge:

He now has the power to draw all the knowledge, strength, and every experience from every previous Black Panther.

Force Shield, Teleportation and Cloaking Device

Superhumanly Acute Senses:

T'Challa can see in total darkness as if it was a clear sunny day, something at over a few hundred feet appears as though it is right in front of his face. T'Challa's sense of hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, enabling him to hear sounds that an ordinary human can't and to be able to hear sounds that an ordinary human can, but at much greater distances. T'Challa can memorize tens of thousands of scents and track them to the exact location, can smell fear, and detect if someone is lying by change in body odor. T'Challa's sense of taste is sensitive to the point that he is able to taste the exact ingredients of any particular food he is eating.

Peak Human Strength:

T'Challa's physical strength is considerably much stronger than the average human at his peak able lift just under 800 lbs. However, his new limits aren't known as of yet.

Peak Human Speed:

T'Challa is able to run and move at speeds superior to those of any Olympic athlete. His top speed is unknown.

Peak Human Stamina:

T'Challa's musculature generates less fatigue toxins than the bodies of most humans. He can exert himself at peak for long durations of time before fatigue begins to impair him. The true extent of his stamina is unknown.

Peak Human Durability:

T'Challa's skin, bone, and muscles are augmented to levels that are somewhat harder and stronger than normal humans.

Peak Human Healing:

T'Challa's body is able to heal from injuries that would prove lethal to ordinary humans. Even though he is capable of regenerating cells, the full extent of his regeneration ability is unknown.

Peak Human Agility:

T'Challa's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are also heightened to the pinnacle of human development. He is superior to any Olympic level gymnast that has ever competed.

Peak Human Reflexes: T'Challa's reaction time is superior to that of any Olympic athlete that has ever competed.

As chieftain, the Panther was entitled to eat a special heart-shaped herb that granted him superhumanly acute senses and increased his already formidable strength, speed, stamina, and agility to enhanced human potential. However, after the Doom Wars he gave up those powers.

Alchemy and ancient magic gave him resistance to magical attacks

Clairvoyance: Many years ago, exposure to the Vibranium Mound gave T'Challa extra-sensory capabilities. He was able to see objects around him even while blindfolded. He also experienced visions of the future wherein he saw himself in conflict with the energy-vampire known as Kiber the Cruel. These powers disappeared shortly after his battle with Kiber.

Equipment

T'Challa's standard day-to-day equipment includes his Black Panther habit, Kimoyo card, anti-metal claws, and vibro-daggers. Along with the title of Black Panther, T'Challa received a habit woven with vibranium, a metal with the ability to absorb all vibrations and kinetic energy it comes in contact with. Vibranium is only found in Wakanda, hence the nation's need for protection. The costume negates most force directed against it and robs moving objects of kinetic energy. This keeps him protected from most attacks. Blades can cut the fabric but only if they cut along the grain. The Kimoyo card is a extremely powerful portable supercomputer invented by T'Challa that has the ability to access technological interfaces, hold T'Challa's databank of every super-powered being in the universe, and can hack into any other technological devices. T'Challa also has anti-metal claws that can cut through nearly anything, including the hardest metals. The claws also have the ability to emit small energy blades from the tip as well as launch them as projectiles. During the beginning of his career, the fingertips of his gloves shot out gaseous streams of a powerful sleeping agent. He also uses a vibro-dagger which is an energy dagger that he can use to cut through almost anything . His boots are also constructed with vibranium, allowing him to land on his feet from great heights without getting hurt. He is also in possession of his own VTOL aircraft, known as the Talon fighters. Several are hidden around the world. T'Challa also has cloaking technology, and uses his Thrice-blessed Light armor for specific tasks. He recently has shown the ability to be able to teleport short distances and create force field to defend himself against energy projection attacks and physical attacks.

T'Challa later joined the Avengers, beginning a long association with that superhero team. He first battled the Man-Ape while with the group, and then met the American singer Monica Lynne, with whom he became romantically involved. He helped the Avengers defeat the second Sons of the Serpent, and then revealed his true identity on American television. He encountered Daredevil, and revealed to him that he had deduced Daredevil's secret identity.

Return to Wakanda

The Panther eventually leaves his active Avengers membership to return to a Wakanda on the brink of Civil War, bringing Lynne with him. After defeating would-be usurper Erik Killmonger and his minions, the Panther ventures to the American South to battle the Ku Klux Klan. He later gains possession of the mystical time-shifting artifacts known as King Solomon's Frogs. These produced an alternate version of T'Challa from a future 10 years hence, a merry, telepathic Panther with a terminal brain aneurysm, whom T'Challa placed in cryogenic stasis.

Later, while searching for and finding his mother, the Panther contends with South African authorities during Apartheid. T'Challa eventually proposes and becomes engaged to Monica Lynne,[39] though the couple never married.

Years later, the Panther accepts a Washington, D.C. envoy, Everett K. Ross, and faces multiple threats to Wakanda's sovereignty. Ross assists him in many of these threats, often fighting side by side (or attempting to). In gratitude, the Panther often risks much for Ross in return. The first main threat to Wakandan sovereignty he and Ross encounter is 'Xcon'—an alliance of rogue intelligence agents—backs a coup led by the sorcerer Reverend Achebe. Afterward, Killmonger resurfaces with a plot to destroy Wakanda's economy. This forces T'Challa to nationalize foreign companies. Killmonger then defeats him in ritual combat, thus inheriting the role of Black Panther, but falls into a coma upon eating the Heart-Shaped Herb—poisonous to anyone outside the royal bloodline, which had a hereditary immunity to its toxic effects. T'Challa preserves his rival's life rather than allowing him to die.

Later, T'Challa finds he has a brain aneurysm like his alternate future self, and succumbs to instability and hallucinations. After his mental state almost causes tribal warfare, the Panther hands power to his council and hides in New York City. There he mentors police officer Kasper Cole (who had adopted an abandoned Panther costume), an experience that gives T'Challa the strength to face his illness, reclaim his position, and return to active membership in the Avengers, whom he helps secure special United Nations status

T'Challa had a somewhat brief romance in his teens with Ororo Munroe, and recently helped reunite her with her surviving family members in Africa. As well as introducing her to her long lost grandparents in America. Where shortly after, T'challa proposed to Ororo. The two were soon married in a large Wakandan ceremony, and then headed off on a diplomatic world tour for their honeymoon. They visited nations like Latveria, the Blue Area of the Moon, and Atlantis as well as America. There, the nation was gripped by the events of the Civil War, and while visiting the White House, the authorities attempted to force Ororo to sign on to the Superhuman Registration Act despite her status as a ruling dignitary. This resulted in the royal couple choosing to side with Captain America and the Secret Avengers in the war.

At the conclusion of the superhero Civil War the Wakanda embassy in New York was destroyed, leaving T'Challa without a home while in the city. At the same time Reed and Sue Richards decided to “take a break” from the Fantastic Four, leaving an opening on the team. T'Challa and Ororo accepted Richards' offer to stay in the Baxter Building and along with the Thing and the Human Torch formed a new Fantastic Four.

During their time with the team, they encountered Galactus and defeated his heralds Silver Surfer and Stardust, traveled to alternate realities, fought a new Frightful Four, and saved Eternity from dying with the help of Doctor Strange. They also stayed and fought alongside the entire Fantastic Four against the Hulk and his Warbound. Though they fought hard, they were eventually defeated along with many others. It was after this event that T'Challa and Ororo decided they had been away from their duties long enough bidding farewell to their allies and departed on good terms.
