The Mets announced on Monday morning that right-hander Noah Syndergaard has been diagnosed with a partial tear of his right lat muscle. Per the team, there’s no timetable on his return, but Syndergaard will be placed on the 10-day disabled list.

Syndergaard becomes the second member of the Mets’ rotation and the third Mets starting option to land on the disabled list less than one month into the season.

a few weeks back machado slid into second base with his cleats high and spiked pedroia in the leg -- pedroia was injured and missed a handful of games -- two nights later a boston reliever buzzed a fastball behind machado head -- dude was suspended four games -- britton called out pedroia questioning his leadership and control over his teammates after barnes retaliatory pitch aimed at machado

yesterday bundy drilled betts in what appeared to be an unintentional pitch but clearly irked mookie

oh and adam jones had a bag of peanuts thrown at him and was called nigger several times by red sox fans

its funny how with all this bad blood that formed between the orioles and red sox the two people involved in the incident (dustin pedroia and manny machado) have no bad blood with each other and have done everything possible together to calm everyone down
