I don't think they look right on darker skinned individuals they just look like blotch marks on top of dark skin.

If you have a light or olive brown complexion the detail in the tats show up more.

With that being said I'm not light nor dark skinned and I don't have any tats.

I'm not really into it seems like a fad for most that have them.

I know some people's tats have meaning to them but for others it's kinda a status and social fad.

I'm pretty dark and have like 6 tatts. The key to getting a tatt. when you're dark is to get bold lines and images that can be seen easily. And they have to be on the big side, the smallest tatt i have is the Orobous on my left pec. Its in all black ink, but clearly visible.

No fancy ass writing or characters, it won't show.

If you do letters, do block letters and keep it all black ink, the other shit won't show on us, or just look stupid 90% of the time.

That's the thing, everybody who has this bullshit swears up and down that their tattoos are the ones that are extremely creative and with the most profound meaning. Shit is ridiculous, due to the ubiquity of tats in everyday society the creativity and meaning of yours is automatically negated because everybody has those shits. As I said before it's before it's gotten to the point now where the unique, different, and edgy people are going to be tat free and the chick with the ridiculous body is regarded as being that much more sexy because she doesn't have a tattoo.
