I dont think the comparisons are fair because these guys are sooooooo different! TI is from that trap music school of thought. get money and power at all cost.

Lupe is like a conscience rapper or something alternative!!! mixing Hip hop and skateboard culture. I liked dude from the start with KICK PUSH and my ni99az thought i was nuts they was into Lil Boosie and ever other dude named Lil Something that was dropping around that time! but things are changing!! I think styles are crossing over to the left field were he is already at. Lupe is not having to DUMB IT DOWN (one of his songs on the cool album) and cross over to the main stream the mainstream is crossing over to him.

TI may still be the man right now. but lets have this conversation in 2013 LUPE may be the biggest name in rap by then!!
