Both, as crazy as it sounds

His earlier work didn't get the credit it deserved, the latest shit getting over praised b/c most ppl didn't give his earlier work enough praise

It's like the industry jumped on his bandwagon too late and is now overcompensating b/c of it

This actually nails it.

Overrated. Dee & Wah and Dame Grease were the real stars

Smartest thing you ever posted. Dame Grease is the master architect of the Ruff Ryders sound, especially DMX.

Swizz gets too much credit and at the same time gets too much. He has made some dope joints over the course of his career but once he started getting credit it was for wack shit.

he's very hit or miss, more miss than hit imo, i hardly see anyone call him great(which he is NOT) so i cant really say he's too overrated

Swizzy good for joints like this

to this day, every now and then i sing "burberry burberry" for no reason...

also my dog house got a backyard...

Underrated. Other than ad libbing all over the beat and that wack ass "show time" shit he always yells now. He's dope to me, and he a loyal nigga he stayed fucking with DMX even after he fell off a bit.

Was a big fan of his until recently. Welcome To The Jungle is the only song I skip on WTT, plus I didn't like the joint on LIG or Magna Carta
