Special Statement on Tidal Reaching 1 Million Paid Subscriptions
Ironically in the middle of doing this tourney i in fact took an L on my own. @GetoBoy and @texasdaking88 I have to admit my L when it comes to my prediction about Tidal failing. As i sat in the crib last night taping up my hockey stick I realized i was in fact wrong about Tidal in some ways. I kept saying the shit was going to be birdman bushes status in a few months and that in fact did not come true.
The other day I may have been a little crazy to expect Tidal to get 4 million subscriptions by next March. Looking back that is a bit unrealistic. Tidal has survived at least for now and beat the odds. That said i still say fuck tidal. They have taken free streams and made niggas sign up for them. They claimed to be for the fan but charged the same price is corporate giants like Apple music and Spotify. But nonetheless it appears Tidal is here to stay and appears to be continuing to grow in the landscape of music streaming.
I must reiterate: fuck tidal. Fuck Tidal. Fuckkk Tidal. But i was wrong and i will take the L like a man. But tidal aint shit.
