Wtf

You ask questions like these:

Like literally, WTF you want the rest of us to do about a dude who calls all women bitches and hoes, or beats up women for no reason ?

But conveniently ignore/dismiss our answers or make excuses or deflect

Do some actual reading

We've made suggestions all throughout this thread

You think there not worth consideration please explain why and in detail

Otherwise you are apart of the problem

Like I said - enumerate your suggestions. Seeing a bunch of pronouns and blame 11 pages in wasn't saying shit. Don't even know what the fuck you're suggesting to say it ain't worth consideration.

If you and Westie have so much problems with Black men, make a thread on it and be clear about what you're accusing us of and who you're accusing it and maybe you'll get an applicable response.

Waiting for every other situation to be discussed and then coming into the thread with some "But y'all ain't care about Black women" shit is lame.

BTW, I read your article already that your posting ad nauseam, so miss me with that "actual reading" bullshit and post something with some "actual" evidence and not just some bullshit suggesting that all the Black men and women of the civil rights were at each others' throats.

Let me make this clear, because there are so many sensitive men lashing out.

EYE know wonderful, thoughtful, loving black men that would kill one of you niggas for even speaking to me the way you do on here. EYE am personally protected. EYE have a great father who lives down the street from me, loves his black wife and black family. Never so much as put a hand on my mother. I have uncles and a brother and a son and a man and friends who are black MEN. The list goes on.

Does that mean that I have never been mistreated by black man? No. Does that mean I don't know women who are abused at the hands of black men? No. I can see so many positive examples and negative examples. The same goes with black women, by the way.

Addressing these concerns, which are already highlighted in this thread in the original post, didn't mean that every single black man is a piece of shit. it doesn't mean that every single black man in **my** life is a piece of shit. I don't have any black men in my life that I interact with that I think are these problematic black men. (Not to say I don't know homophobic black men that I love, I do.) But harmful black men? No. But I've seen it in my friend's men, I've seen it in exes. I've seen it in just regular interactions with how black men have approached me.

Why is it so hard for y'all to say that there are ain't shit black men And that it starts there? I'm sure you have hung out with some ain't shit niggas you haven't ever checked about how he treats the women in his life. You don't do that. That is the problem. It doesn't have to be just you it doesn't only have to be you. You know these men exist. Stop acting like you don't know what we are talking about, because you do.

Cuz....

MFs talked about "ain't shit" Black men on here every god damn week for at least 2 years.

okay love

I'm lying ?

My search just now for "ain't shit niggas" just yielded 156 results - and dates back to 2010.
http://community.allhiphop.com/search?Search="ain't+shit+niggas%22

I just figured you didn't want to talk about black men who aint shit so that was just saying okay. I won't talk about it with you. That's all.

Nope, I feel like we do talk about it but apparently talking about women who ain't shit is misogynistic / sexist.

There are many many threads about women who aint shit. You know this.

Why are we bringing up women’s rights/issues when y’all and we have issues being black first??

And if it’s a byproduct of white supremacy why not attack that?? And the other symptoms would go away right???? You get rid of a cold and the mucus and congestion symptoms leave.....in fact we are treating the symptoms instead of the virus....we wait until we have a runny nose and treat the runny nose instead of the infection...

That’s the exact same thing as lbgqt rights/lives being brought up during black lives matters issues

We have issues being black and people want to bring up points of contention about being a women , gay, poor, nationality, religion....

That too me says black women are ok with white supremacy....they just want their treatment to change a little bit....gay people are ok with white supremacy....they just want their social acceptance a little bit....

You say this as if the issues that come with being both black and a woman can't be addressed at the same time. I damn sure don't agree with every issue women raise and I think the article definitely has holes that kill its argument...but this idea that a person has to pick between the things they identify as is silly.

I said at this point in time black people as a whole can not multitask and put resources and energy into different areas and directions we need a unify and move in one direction to have an impact...we have been multitasking for the past 300 years

And the fact that you don’t realize jacking all trades and mastering nothing is not helping us...it distorts our purpose...we went from wanting liberation to wanting women’s rights to wanting gay rights...that’s what multi tasking does that’s what not moving in one direction does when everybody is on different accords you get black lives matters treatment....

Black men getting blamed for the sexism of white men now ?

No but we are expected to be abuse victims who show no symptoms....rape victims who grow up to be outgoing people who you would never be able to tell were raped , Tuskegee airmen who were given syphilis and untreated but show no signs of it....

Was sexism a issue prior to America?? Because that’s the state we are trying to get back to and fixing sexism within the black community will not bring about liberation...neither will the reconstruction of “toxic masculinity”

We are all abused and the problem comes when no one addresses it. Black women are abused and we address it because we can be abused at the hands of black men. It happens. Having it acknowledged is something. That's a step. The abuse of black men is also a problem and it should be acknowledged as well. I don't know why we continue to that talk at each other and act like there are no valid points. Everybody needs to heal and it's fucked up.

Is it so bad to acknowledge our pain? We're here now. We know the problems NOW. This shit needs to start somewhere.

No but when your pain supersedes the whole liberation and or movement then that is where the problem begins...and at this point black people cant talk and chew gum we gotta go with one or the other....

How in the hell is a black woman's pain superseding liberation?

it sounds like your pain is superseding the movement because you can't acknowledge anything past that. So basically what you're saying is our problems are more important than yours so fuck your problems.

It’s not the pain but the focus and the call to action for something to be done while the last call to action has not been acted upon...black people are like a backed up Wendy’s with 10 orders on the screen and 5 orders we didn’t even get to yet.....

I don’t think we should even be focusing on black men getting gunned down in the streeet because truth be told if we was spending our every waking breathe doing something for our family’s....there would be little time to get shot, not to say we wouldn’t have casualties but I’ve luckily never been shot at on my way to work , school, or my girls crib...so as a black man if you ain’t literally doing one of the 3 your a target...now standing on the block?? The club let out?? Waffle House 2 in the morning??

The number problem for black people is getting free , not black men getting gunned down, not domestic violence, not misogyny, not sexism, not substance abuse, not sexual assault...bringing up any of these points is clearly for contention imo

I haven't posted much in this thread because the shit is going exactly how I knew it would, thus proving the article's point. No point in fighting over it.

Like it's crazy for this thread to be this many pages. This is a hip hop forum and any contributing member of hip hop culture will tell you hip hop is misogynistic. A culture that we created and fight tooth and nail to keep alive inherently has an issue with women and female voices. So why is it unheard of that black women have some issues in dealing with black men?

While every other woman building up their men to go out and compete in this world.

Black women worried about their feelings.

This shit about power man. No matter how much more educated yall become, how much more aggressive, outspoken and "brave" yall are when it comes to these issues. You are not a threat to the establishment; the establishment knows this...so they allow yall to have yall fun.

If you not willing to put the black man first, build him up and send him out to compete for ALL of our stake in this world; aint nothing else to talk about.

you see here is the problem with what you said.

you have to give up the thirst for power by trusting that the person you are standing behind will get the power and help you out.

i think the black women dont trust the black men with this power.....an they kinda have a point. alot of us black men do go off an get white chicks or hispanic chicks over black women. but then again...how many of those same black women support that black man coming up?

they establishment you speak of can hold black women at a point....and allow white women to rise above them. but allow the black woman to taste power will have her 9 times outta 10 shit on her current man....an get into the i can do for myself mindframe.

i personally can point you in the direction of very successful lonely or divorced black women who are getting treated like shit. because the are in love with the power..they cant see they hurt themselves. an that at 65...that power wont be there to hold them. so now they gotta settle for whatever.

but guess what...on the way up they might have had to settle for whatever....got a taste of power and thought they had choices.

the white establishment likes to make you believe you are more than what you are. building and taking from you at the same time while giving you a distraction.

Ok.

Men mistreating women ain't exclusive to black women.

We're supposed to be having a discussion about issues within our own community tho....what everybody else is doing ain't the point

It's very much the point when you are tearing down the black man and referring to it as a BLACK MALE ISSUE when it's not.

Dumb shit like saying it's a black issue when it's not is dumb as fuck.

I'm starting to think that black relationships issues are more of the black women fault.

Y'all listened to these women and now the black family suffer from it. Y'all want your cake and eat it too with this I don't need a man shit and what black men have to do.

How about y'all talk about what y'all have to do.

Always placing the blame on us is fucking dumb as fuck

Who said misogyny is only a black issue? Black men and women mainly deal with each other. So if I'm saying I'm having an issue with misogyny....I'm gonna present that to the men I deal with - black men.

But wouldn’t the best thing to do is attack the cause of this??and Not the symptom???

Why are you assuming black women are not vocal about racism?

I am not .....all I’m saying is if my ship is sinking I’m worried about stopping up the hole not the rising water....at the point I begin focusing on the rising water and instead of plugging the hole I start dumping water out of the boat and get the illusion of progress...my issue becomes a vicious cycle that could be more harmful that if I would of just plugged the hole

Then your point doesn't make any sense...misogyny is not a byproduct of racism. It exists on its own. Like I said in my other post, hip hop, a culture/genre that WE created with very little to no help from whites, is misogynistic.

can you talk to me like im 5.

i dont understand what you are saying
