All of Jay-Z & Kane's albums are listenable cuz of their terrific flows

Lil' Wayne is a legend (I'm not even a fan)
Em is G.O.A.T. and it's wack how blk ppl get on him for his subject, and wants him to be like everyone else

4. Wu Tang Clan is the greatest rap group of all time.

5. J Dilla is the greatest producer of all time.

old white men think Jay-z is more influential than he actually is hence why he is so huge

its not because of his fan base - yes he has a good size fan base but that's not why they still play all his new bullshit tracks

white CEOs are fooled into thinking this guy is the streets! he knows whats cool! if we endorse him our products will sell!

......ehhhhhhhnnnn wronggg hes a has been fucking pain in the ass

Devin the Dude is a Top Ten MC
Cube is the best who ever did it out west...pac is always rated at a higher rank than him simply because he died.

1. TRUTH IS... Biggie was far from the best. He had some great songs, but he only had 1 album out b4 he died so how the fuck is he classified as "the greatest"?

The only reason BIG is even considered one of the greatest is because the arrogant NY mufuckaz had to hav an answer to Pac. If he was still alive, wouldnt nobody even care about him.

2. Pac was def one of the great "rappers" but his lyrics were less them impressive - in fact he used the same 5 words in almost every song he ever did.

3. Snoop hasn't had a dope album since "Doggystyle"

4. Jay Z is an OK rapper at best - No where near the greatest or even top 10. U can hear his punch in's in every song after every line. His "swag" is what won, not his skills

5. Eminem got more props for his deranged content then his actual lyrics - tho his is dope at puttin shyt together creatively.

6. DMX was never a good lyricist.

7. Blueprint 3 was/is complete garbage

8. Blueprint 1 wasn't that dope either

9. It Was Written is def better album than Illmatic

10. Slaughterhouse is garbage - the entire group is composed of overrated MC's

11. Eve & Shawnna are 2 of the most talented Female rappers ever but hav the worst beat selection.

12. Lyrically, Busta Rhymes & Cee Lo can run circles around Jay Z, Pac, Biggie & Nas, but their "weird" style overshadows their lyrical skill.

13. Bizzy Bone is one of the dopest "rappers" (not lyricist) ever

14. Lil Wayne bit his "new" style from Bizzy Bone - Go listen to "Alpha & Omega" and tell me im lying.

15. Common actually sucks

16. 50 Cent was never a dope rapper - Production & Marketing made his career.

17. "Get Rich or Die Tryin" was so overrated - Shyt only had 5 dope songs

18. All "real" Hip hoppers talk about is how Hip Hop aint the same no more - which makes their music irrelevant & pointless.

thts my 18 cents....

1. Being born in NY DOES NOT equate to being lyrical( MIMS, WAKA FLOCKA(yeah..he was born in Jamaica, Queens), 50cent, Prodigy, Jim Jones, N.O.R.E.,

2. Outside of a small handful of rappers, the south really doesnt have many lyricists. And with that being said, you have to be FUCKED UP(high or drunk) to actually enjoy some of the shit that is coming from some of them dudes.

3. The quality of mainstream hiphop has gone downhill drastically in the last few years and at the same time the popularity of southern rap has gone up. Coincidence. NO.

4. Joe Budden is a better lyricist than Method Man

5. Jay-Z's legacy/impact makes him the G.O.A.T.( n/h...but really....think about what that dude has done).

6. Tupac/Biggie would not have fucked with most of the popular artists out today more or less the ones placed on their posthumous albums.

7. American Gangster was the best album to come out in the last 5 years.

8. Lloyd Banks is probably the 4th best lyricist today behind only Jay, Em and Jada.(this dude is slept on to the point where it is almost criminal)

9. "On to the Next One" was the last great/ creative/ innovative music video made in the last few years.

10. Radio/MTV/BET are all sellouts who play less and less good hip hop by the minute.(MTV shouldnt even count at this point)

I can't agree with that cuz illmatic was more pure.it was written was nas trying to compete with BIG and JAY

I think It was Written is better than Illmatic, although I fully understand Illmatic's impact on hip hop.
