Biggie is THE most overrated rapper of all time. He sounds like he can't breathe and has to yell in the mic, and his lyrics aren't much better than half of what's out now. If he hadn't died, he would never be considered a GOAT, or in the top 30, much less top 10.

Eazy E was the 2 most overrated rapper of all time. Weak ass flow, and lyrics were cool, but his delivery was mediocre at best. Once again, if he hadn't died, he wouldn't be a legend.

I don't like Big L. His songs were boring.

I'd rather read Nas's songs than listen to him rap.

Eminem is beyond overrated. Besides the scathing diss records, (against weak people I mean, Benzino? He's like in the top 5 whackest rappers. Nick Cannon and Ja Rule? Didn't prove anything stomping them in the ground.) nothing great about him.

Nas is a better rapper than Jay-Z, if he had any sort of charisma on the mic it wouldn't even be disputed

- Drake is a better rapper than people give him credit for. Anyone that listened to him pre-SFG can tell you that.

- Jeezy is not a good lyricist but he made some of the best trap music EVER

- Wayne has one of the worst catalogues verse-wise in hi hop history. The trash EASILY outweighs the gems

Mine would be.
Stop saying the 90's were so much better than present day hip-hop and comparing the two.
That is the past, and there is no going back unless you got a fucking time machine.....
Deal with it.

Lil Wayne is Flava Flav with the machine behind him...

Nas laid back style is mistaken for a lack of charisma...

"old school" cats made music as youngsters that show more maturity than these old niggas y'all think are young make...

Ras Kass is what the West Coast is missing...

ras kass is a good lyricist but his flow is awful sometimes its just like hes fucking just talking on a track.

so things in the past cant be better than the present?
okee dokee...

lack of respect for the pioneers and legends of the culture will forever hold it back from achieving the legitimacy it deserves...

Tired of people talkin about the 90s like its gonna come back.
Especially when people make comparisons for the "next Tupac or Biggie"
There won't be another one of those and the 90s is a different era.
And the comparison is fairly pointless, as the 90s were far superior.
It would be like.... comparing Soulja Boy's lyricism to Lupe's or somethin.

I don't help that the 90's vs. the present day comparison is constantly brought up either.

In my opinion, its disrespectful to even compare present day artists to the legends of the 90's.

thats the way i used to think about around 99 when he was the hype man and ad libber on songs like Back That Ass up. He really over performed what i thought he would be i think he really GOT IT in understanding how the internet would change music and how its delivered and distributed!
