Dope drop homie. One of my favorite Mac songs. Dude had so much talent. I really wonder how his music would have sounded after this album if he wouldn't have gotten locked up.

I think he wouldnt have been on that highly mainstream level like Lil Wayne because he don't make that kinda music but he would've been one of the consistent solo artists in the south like Face that'll drop some dope albums. I forget that he was being compared to the Nas of the south back then

I spoke to his fam not too long ago, they got some new combative lawyer working out a deal. Saying he should be home very very soon. Could be a few months.......

I know, I know, we heard that before.....

mac been rappin since he was a kid. #freemac

MAC - My Brother

That shit still jams, reminds me a lil bit of my brother and myself. That GAP band sample is classic, Beats by the pound doesn't get the props they deserve as far as hip hops great production teams go.

Man i wish he never got that time Mac was one my favorite artist no matter what coast.

One of my favorite songs from Mac is "Best Friends"

I remember that track being on Only God Can Judge album by P. Not to derail your thread. In regards to that Lost Tapes album, I remember being in school when Facebook first started getting popular. They had a Mac page and they were promoting the album. I sent a message can't remember if it was his wife or sister who I spoke to but they gave me an address to send for payment for the album. I sent off a money order. They messaged me and told me it had shipped and they gave me Mac's address to write him. I wrote like a one page letter saying how I was a fan and recited some lyrics of his that stuck with me. He never responded so Idk if he got it or not but I had to support dude. As a fan of hip hop, I felt like we were robbed of great music from him. Dude is that dope. No disrespect to the dude who died but that case was shaky from the beginning.

He had probably got shipped to another facility.......

Something like that what I bolded happened to me too. I wrote him, he wrote back. Wrote him again, but didn't get a response. I thought he may have been free or something, but one of his fam I hit up let me know he was getting moved or something. Then that last letter I sent off finally came back and someone went through it and read it, but it wasn't him. They had a stamp of a finger and a message saying something in regards to he did move to another location. The first time he responded, he actually sent me a pic of him and his pops (Big Mac) when he was a young boy and told me he was thinking about using that as an album cover if I remember correctly too.......

I remember my boy was like no limit was wack everybody on the label was wack and I played this lol nigga became a fan
