We as human beings like to put a hierarchy to sin and say this sin is worse than that sin. But in the eyes of God sin is sin. And all sin must be punished! You can either let Christ take the punishment for your sins or you will take the punishment for your sins in the lake of fire. Those are the only 2 options mankind has.

So while I don't diminish this kids crime, which is horrific, I also realize that there is a God in heaven who sent His Son to die for ALL the sins of mankind. You will see the nail prints in his hands and feet. You will see the piercing in his side.
