So who got the best album so far this year?

Its a toss up for me right now between Saigon and Raekwon. But Talib is slept on, let that be known.

Raekwon, only one of the four that I expect to still be in my top 10 (or perhaps even top 5) by the end of the year. Great album.

I know it leaked, but I'm saving my ears till 03/08.

Other then that, nobody really droppin like that .. Curren$y will probably be my early favorite since he's dropping on the 15th.

Naw the Lupe album was a letdown, Saigon's album was descent but I'm not as hyped about it as the IC seems to be, Raekwon's album sounds recycled like whatever he left off OBFCL2 & the coke in the dollar bill mixtape, haven't heard Talib's album yet but I don't really check for him I'm more of a Mos fan.

I put all my hope into Lasers I pre-ordered and everything, but I guess Kanye & Jay is all I have left. I will check for Carter IV but Wayne been wack for about the past 2 years so I'm not expecting much, I'm definitely waiting to see what this"supposed" Illmatic 2 is about, and if J Cole's album ever comes out that's an instant cop.

I don't think they doin Illmatic 2 tho. I think Prem and nem wants it and have been wanting to do that for years but Nas don't wanna do it and i don't think his mind has changed. It's like the AZ & Nas collabo album thingy to us fans.
