This is to be expected. Lets see how he is by the end of the week. A lot of people have started out slow then picked it up by the end of the week.

I'm rooting for Tebow. I know some people don't like him but the sucess speaks for itself. And if I was a GM, I would rather take a chance on a good guy like Tebow than the regular kuncklehead.

I read that he missed a few recievers and overthrew a guy by 5 yards on a 10 yard out route.

As much as I hate Tebow and his bible thumpin' ass family.....

I must admit that he reminds me of a square version of Ken Stabler. He ain't really have the best mechanics, and ain't always the most graceful of QBs but the fucker knows how to get it done. He has a strong work ethic and I'm sure he'll keep working on his game, but even though I wish him nothing but failure, I think he wants "it" too bad to be a bust. If Jamarcus Bustell can start in the NFL, then I don't see why Tebow can't be given a shot.....

Fuck that nigga tho.

Ken Stabler was one of the most acurate qbs in the history of the NFL.

No he wasn't. He has less than a 60% career completion percentage and had almost 30 more INTs than TDs over the span of his career. He had about a 3-4 year window (1973-76) where he was among the better QBs in the league but he wasn't the GOAT you make him out to be. He was and still is one of my most favorite QBs of all time, but he isn't the best. Nor was he the most accurate. He had alot of sticktoitiveness and I admire his tenacity as a player, but you can't confuse that with being the GOAT. I'd say he's in the top 20 or 15 if you go only on his prime years and team success.

dude youre pulling stats from the 70s, when the game was different. this wasnt the joe montana west coast offense. believe me. please dont ever try and compare tebow to stabler. like i said, he was one of the most accurate passers of all time. learn the game and dont be a stat geek. and who said he was the goat?? LMAO.. are you even responding to what i said or are you making up a totally different argument? since when does "one of the most accurate passers of all time" = GOAT? get a clue little fella. ask around, real life people, real life players, instead of googling stats and trying to make some crazy argument that doesnt even pertain to my post.

After suffering severe knee injuries, Stabler became less a scrambling quarterback and more a classic, drop-back passer, known for deadly-accurate passes and an uncanny ability to lead late, come-from-behind drives.

there bro, since you like to google shit, i googled that for you. fall back

Tebow is a "project". That's all there is 2 it.

He has a lot of things working against him, from the spread offense, to Urban Meyer's "system", horrid mechanics, and sometimey accuaracy. But he's a dedicated dude and he'll have time to work on his craft since whoeva drafts him (late I assume) won't jus throw him out 2 the wolves.

Or he could jus gain a lil' more weight and be a tight end & a wildcat guy from time 2 time.

Though I don't Tebow will be a great NFL QB, it's the first day of practice with new receivers, playing a completely different scheme,etc... struggling is normal this early.

Whoever think Tebow gonna be a good NFL qb is crazy, I think he'll win up being 3rd string

Nothing about his game looks like its gonna translate to the NFL

i never understood why college qbs dont take more snaps from the center knowing damn well they will have to if they make it to the league

tebow is the type of player that will work his tail off to get it better and at the same time make people around him better. he'll get drafted and in a few years will play in qb in a game due to injury. he'll be a career back up
