If it's true, it's bullshit that Lupe has succombed to this quitters mentality. You want to reach the youth? You recognize the problem? Don't fucking give up when you hit a roadblock, especially when you and many others not only know you're right but know you've been doing the right thing.

I'm a HUGE Lupe fan. Been so since the first Fahrenheit 1st & 15th came out. But if he's gonna quite b/c his message is meeting resistance right in the face, then fuck him b/c he never really wanted to make a difference anyway.

When you hit a roadblock, you don't fall at the first sign of resistance. You persevere. MAYBE you aren't the one to make that difference that finally turns things around, but if you keep at your message, you're more likely to inspire the person that does. And that's just as big as being there when the message finally gets through.

Lupe's just gotta remember that when a soldier hits the frontline of the battle, the biggest coward and biggest traitor is the one who runs back and hides when the opponent fires back. The heroes are the ones who persevere. And the benefactors are everyone.
