wouldn't that be a good thing though. If you give your best beats away you get more profit from selling them. But as far as an album even if cole doubled his album sales hes not getting much more revenue. Its like owning a bakery and loving pies and selling your best pie to a good paying customer. Sure its cheap to make and tastes good but you profit of it by selling it.

Hii Power is the shit, definitely up there with Cole's best. But Rise and Shine wins this one by default cuz that beat can stand on its own, there's so many dope things about it, the intro, the breakdowns, etc. Lamar made Hii Power even better, he tore that shit to shreds. Really, aside from the vocals in the bridge and hook that were added afterwards, there wasn't much added to Hii Power. It doesn't switch up too much cept the hook and the drums towards the end. He could've made that shit way more epic, that's all I'm saying. Still song of the year though, definitely Grammy worthy.
