I get what you sayin but there was a time when the Grammies nominated and gave the awards to the kind of artists you can rarely listen to on the radio. They seemed to care more about artistry rather than popularity back then. Now, what's the difference between the Grammies and the AMAs or the MTV Music Video Awards, etc.??

Oh I gotta add the Grammies still don't have a clue on what is Hiphop or what is a great Hiphop song.

But there were plenty of mainstream cuts that should have been nominated over a song thats making fun of the same genre its nominated in. Jadakiss wit NeYo By My Side Busta Rhymes Decision with Mary J Blige, John Legend, Common and Jamie Foxx are just a couple that should replace lonely island.
