Sion.- M.A.A.D City -- LOLOL I used to be an MC Eiht fan back in the day, I was hesistant at first but they did it right. A very unique combo... maaaan this track was so dope, I love how we could contrast Kendrick as the new school west coast artist and then when the beat flips and Eiht comes up he shows us where we came from. Jamaica this had to be one of my top 3 favorite songs on the album !
Jamaica- Imo they should have used the beat they flipped throughout the song. I’m not a fan of Mc Eiht but he did his thing on this. These guys spoke to us about what it’s like in Cali especially in Compton and how deep the gang life is out there. Telling us stories of things that happened in the “m.A.A.d city” whether violence, profiling by police or drugs”

Sion.- Swimming Pools Extended Version -- Dope record and a dope video too, I was surprised he didn't use the remix version instead, what you think of it fam ? That was fucked up how they tried to get retribution for Kendrick earlier... I didn't think it'd go down like that
Jamaica- I like this song as a single. It sounds like something that would be a hit in 2012 but it has a uniqueness to it so it stands out a little. The video was dope too. I can relate to wanting to get revenge after getting set up lol been there done that…
Sion.- Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst -- Every track on the album I loved a lot but this might be my favorite. Powerful record, when they were going to go back and get revenge for the last record made me realize perhaps violence is never the answer and the cycle continues. The Maya Angelou skit was potent, I got a new prayer from that one. What was it about this record that stood out the most to you ? There was so much I couldn't pick one lol.
Jamaica- This song is deep, very emotional song Shadyteam would love this record This is the reality of cats that we never hear about or will ever know. We all by nature don’t like violence but some people have no choice especially if you’re caught up in stuff. I like introspective songs, this is in the vein of Jay Z’s “Regrets” from Reasonable Doubt. He raps about never forgetting about him if he gets killed before he got a chance to live his dreams. Keep his name out there and tell people that he was a good dude, similar to how Tupac and Big continue to live on through countless references. Then on the flipside he fears that he’ll just fade away into oblivion and no one would care.
Sion.- Compton -- My third favorite song, can't even front even Dre had a dope verse. Kendrick went the fuck in, I love this record. Definitely a great way to conclude his tale while giving props to the place that birthed and raised him. It was only right that Dre get on this to show support to the homey Kendrick. Man I like how they had the little Roger Troutman joint come on at the end of the record.
Jamaica- Dope ass beat, props to Dre ghostwriter for writing him a dope verse. Kendrick had a dope verse as usual, this song is repping where he is from and how Compton is unique to any other city in America. I give Dre his props for helping out Kendrick and he seemed to have picked the right artist this time.
