They havent confirmed if its the final season or not. Can tell the cast is starting to not be as into it as they once were though.

Forgot, usually they debut the season is September, but production was pushed back while emmy rossum and warner bros were negotiating her pay after that whole curfuffle of her saying she deserves more pay than macy

Did ya'll notice that someone else is playing Liam now?
Edit: He's been replaced, due the fact there might be a time jump in the show now.
To honor National Selfie Day, Steve Howey posted a ‘Shameless’ cast selfie on Twitter that included the new young actor playing the role of Liam.
We learned a few weeks ago that Liam Gallagher would be recast this season on Showtime’s Shameless. A post on Instagram revealed that Brenden and Brandon Sims, who share the role of Liam Gallagher on the show, will not be filming Season 8.
Brenden and Brandon’s mother, who runs the Instagram account, posted a cast photo from Season 7 and wrote “Thank you guys for everything. The boys will miss you all. Wish everyone great success for season 8.”
Sheila is supposed to be coming back.
Hopefully Sammi and Chucky will be back.
