Don't know if this is sarcasm or anything, but I'm a guess that it is considering that schools in the hood all over have had to deal with gun violence for YEARS and didn't get anything close to something like a bulletproof insert to use in case of emergency. Once you walk past metal detectors you are on your own.

Hell... Maybe I just ain't been to school in a long ass time.....but we wasn't allowed to walk around wit no damn bookbags on anyway. I think a few years after I graduated they started sellin thrm clear and mesh joints at the schools for convienience but when I was in it was strictly lockers and arm strength.
