It's small. Downtown has a couple of nice restaurants. I only really go for the rib fest and my mother-in-law's church. I purposefully don't spend a lot of time there when I am there.

Work in Winston, live in Greensboro.

Lmao Winston Salem, really nigga?? I used to live in Greensboro which is near Winston, and it aint shit in Winston. They got a big, dope mall...but thats about it. Ugh, just a horrible city.

Thanks to everyone who had a legitimate comment. I mean, only reason I want to he down there is because the banking industry has moved to NC and I want to eventually start a company to design and test software for them.

I also got some options in Philly. The Philly ones pay way more. I might just say fuck it and stay around here and go out to NC when I learn the business.

I gotta let the companies know my decision by Friday.

As far as banking goes, that's more so in Charlotte. Charlotte is the 2nd largest banking city in the country. I definitely wouldn't move to Winston if that's what you tryna get into...

yeah I went there a couple of times when I was going to nca&t in Greensboro and...yeah...that place is dead as hell. I f college age which you sound like you are older than wssu is there other than that I don't know what to tell you. But if you making good money you can always use that to travel to other places like charlotte, the beach and the mountains to do some fun shit.

Ima grown man so I gives a fuck about night life honestly. The job pays great. And its exactly what I wanna get into, which is working on a software that a big time bank is developing.

As long as Winston Salem is a nice quiet place thats all that matters. And from this thread and other research I did, it sounds like it is a nice and quiet place.

I'll eventually be in Charlotte anyway.
