There is no single that had the impact of G thang, Maybe...... Maybe straight outta compton. I couldn't type a titangraph long enough to spell out all of the things that were set forth when it dropped, and was successful. The music was dope, and it served as the roots from which a ton of classic material was grown.

The song single handedly ended the concious, fight the power era in hip hop, for better or worse. We went from Kangols to Khakis in 1 summer.

Only in da club and straight outta compton can compete as far as dope music married to impact. And guess what tree in da club falls under? It started with that barbecue in the park and the lil nigga dancin in the parkin lot.
