One of the first songs that put me on to rap as a kid. I was 7 on the cheese bus during ghetto camp Montgomery Center. We was always on the way to Seneca Park Zoo but not the zoo part the field and crafts lodge. Damn near Every. Single. Day.

And on that bus it was always these couple kids rappin' the verses and everybody else was doing the instrumental hook. Then I heard it on the radio and put 2 and 2 together lol.

Needless to say I gotta run wit this cuz out of all the choices I keep this in rotation more. Word, I be bumpin' this in the car to this day. Damn, memories man lol.

"...No more Big Willie, my game has grown

Prefer you call me William

Illin' for revenues, Rayful Edmond-like

Channel 7 News, round seven jewels, head dead in the mic

Forgettin' all I ever knew, convenient amnesia

I suggest you call my lawyer, I know the procedure..."

"...Viva Las Vegas, see ya later at the crap tables

Meet me by the one that starts a G up

This way no Fraud Willies present gamblin' they re-up..."

It gets tedious, so I keep one eye open like CBS- you see me stressed...right?

I can front though it was a hard choice to pick over str8 up menace.cause when that movie ended and that song came on it instantly became one of my favorites.

Alright

New champion is Can I Live!!

Shout out to everyone that voted, shout out to MC Eiht for holding it down! He was a great champ. Week fours and week eights are the toughest tho. If we ever get a ten week winner that rides off into the hall of fame sunset that damn song gonna have to be bomb.

I feel some type of way about Eiht not getting atleast ONE vote tho. I ain't gont lie. Lol

Can I Live is incredible but I'm going with the AZ joint on this. Nas and AZ going back and forth with the bars and storytelling like a movie, with Nas setting the scene with him being kidnapped in a cocaine spot basement. The line that always stuck with me in this song is, "See me, I'm just as foul as ya but you ain't go no style in ya". Always thought that was dope and made me look at the higher ups (suits) a little different.
