Aye man. I know they have some theories on this shit but I have my own and it all seems to add up. In the video that Harris Perry shows you can hear Sandra says she hit her head can't feel her arms and she can't hear. That sounds like syptoms of a concussion. Football players die on the field from that. She dies in the car or when they get to the station. They stage a hanging and a cop gets off...just my own thoughts

Just watched the hr long dashcam footage.

She understandibly had attitude. The pig suggested that she seemed irritated and she responded by agreeing that she was and proceeded to tell him why she was, suggesting that it wasn't going to prevent him from citing her, irregardless. That's when he started having second thoughts about the warning he was going to issue her. His thinking was, and I'm paraphrasing here, "I'm about to give this nigger girl a free pass and she got the nerve to have an attitude with me? Ill show this nigger whose boss (master) and put her back in her place before i let her off with a warning. Let me abuse my power." Paraphrase over, and now I quote, "Put your cigarette out." That's bullshit. That cop knew he ain't have the right to tell her to put her cig out inside her vehicle. He was baiting her into noncompliance of an unlawful order. He clearly knew that then, that's why he never told his superior that part, that that's the real reason he asked and then forced her out of her car for an unlawful arrest; all because she didn't obey him on his power trip.

There are vm and calls to her friends and family about her seeing a judge and her charges and fines.

but that doesn't mean she didn't suffer from a concussion and die from her injuries

that to me is far more believable than she killed herself

knew some people who knew her. heard she was a great person who was proud to be black. she did tried to commit suicide cuz she had a miscarriage before. but idk she did it now. but still the police NEED to be held accountable for this cuz that video was sickening.

Sandra Bland's autopsy results released; DA confirms suicide by hanging | News - Home

WALLER COUNTY, Texas -

The Waller County District Attorney has released autopsy results in the death of Sandra Bland, a 28-year-old woman who died while in police custody after being arrested during a traffic stop. After Bland was found dead in her jail cell, many suspected that foul play was involved. At a press conference on Thursday, Waller County prosecutor Warren Diepraam confirmed the death as suicide by hanging.

Diepraam said the medical examiner viewed Bland's eyelids, eyeballs and overall face. There were no injuries consistent with struggle. There was, however, a bruise on Bland's neck consistent with suicide. Had it been a violent struggle, the mark would not have been consistent or uniform. During a violent struggle, the pathologist explained one would see hemorraging in the neck and trachea area. There were no injuries indicating a violent struggle.

There were superficial abrasions on Bland's right shoulder blade. Those were consistent with someone applying pressure to her back, or with her applying force against some other object. Those marks do not reveal who placed them. There was a portion of a leaf found in a scab on her back.

There were cut marks on her left arm and at least 30 cut marks on left wrist, in a state of healing with scarring or scabbing, indicating they were placed on her wrists weeks before the arrest.

The question remains as to why Bland was not on suicide watch.

Documents obtained by KPRC 2 News show that Bland told Waller County jailers she had tried to kill herself using pills after she lost a baby in 2014. But Bland's family says there is "no evidence" that she previously attempted suicide.

Bland's family and friends dispute the finding.

Waller County Sheriff Glenn Smith told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the 28-year-old had told a guard about a previous suicide attempt while being asked a series of questions posed to each person booked into the jail.

But also on the booking sheet questionnaire, Bland answered 'No' to questions about whether she had thoughts of killing herself in the last year or if she had thoughts about killing herself that day.

Sources told KPRC 2 that the jailers did not feel she was a threat or depressed after observing her and did not put her on suicide watch.

Amin Alehashem, director of the Houston office of the Texas Civil Rights Project says the jail's screening process appears to have failed.

"The questions about suicide on those jail intake forms are there for a reason. And that is to identify people who are at risk, of committing harm, especially to themselves. There’s a constitutional duty for the county or the state, once it has you in custody, to protect you from harm, even from yourself," Alehashem said.

A jailer who was the last to talk with Bland before her body was found in her cell on the morning of July 13, told Channel 2 News she showed no signs of depression during the three days she was held there.

The deputy, who asked that his identity not be revealed, said he stopped by to check on Bland around 7 a.m. that morning and remembered their conservation as lighthearted.

“I said have you been eating?”

“Kinda, sorta, not really.” Bland responded.

“So, I jokingly said, you better start eating woman, cause you can't afford to lose no weight. You ain't as big as a minute. And we both laughed just like that. She laughed with a little smirk. And I went on the rest of my rounds.”

Another deputy found Bland's lifeless body in her cell about two hours later. Investigators say she'd fashioned a noose out of a plastic garbage bag, and hanged herself while still seated. Her death was ruled a suicide, but is still under investigation by Texas Rangers and the Waller County district attorney.

When asked about the admission of a previous suicide attempt, Cannon Lambert, an attorney representing Bland's relatives, said "this family has no evidence that is the case."

Bland's arrest followed a confrontation with a white officer state trooper who had stopped her for a minor traffic violation in Prairie View July 10.

Lambert said Wednesday that Bland hadn't been acting suicidal and the family had no indication she had been treated for depression. He said Bland had just bought groceries and was ecstatic about her new job when she was pulled over, but many questions remain after the release of the dashcam video.

"Why Sandy had to be asked to put out her cigarette out. Why Sandy had to be asked to get out of her car. Why Sandy had to be subject to the officer pointing a Taser at her. Why Sandy had to be thrown to the ground and hurt," Lambert said at a Wednesday afternoon press conference.

"I'm infuriated and everybody else should be infuriated as well. From the petty charge to the officer asking her, let's be clear, he asked her, 'Can you put your cigarette out for me please?' That's not an instruction, that's not a summons, that's an ask. He asked her and she simply responded, 'No, I don't have to put my cigarette out, I'm in my own car,'" said Bland's sister, Sharon Cooper.

The roadside encounter swiftly escalated into a shouting confrontation, with the officer holding the weapon and warning Bland, "I will light you up," for not getting out of her vehicle.

The video posted online Tuesday by the Texas Department of Public Safety shows the trooper stopping Bland for failing to signal a lane change. After handing her a written warning, the trooper remarks that Bland seems irritated. The Illinois woman replies that she is irritated because she had changed lanes to make way for the trooper's car.

The conversation quickly turns hostile when the officer asks Bland to put out her cigarette and she asks why she can't smoke in her own car. The trooper then orders Bland to get out of the vehicle. After she refuses, he tells her she is under arrest.

Further refusals to get out bring a threat from the trooper to drag her out. He then pulls out a stun gun and makes the threat about lighting Bland up.

When she finally steps out of the vehicle, the trooper orders her to the side of the road. There, the confrontation continues off-camera, but it is still audible. The two keep yelling at each other as the officer tries to put Bland in handcuffs and waits for other troopers to arrive.

Still off-camera, Bland can be heard protesting her arrest, repeatedly using expletives. She screams that he's about to break her wrists and complains that he knocked her head into the ground.

In response to questions about gaps and overlaps in the video, authorities said the footage was not edited or manipulated.

Tom Vinger, a spokesman for the Department of Public Safety, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that glitches occurred in the recording when it was uploaded for public viewing. The agency re-posted the video on Wednesday.

The trooper, who has been on the force for just over a year, has been placed on administrative leave for violating unspecified police procedures and the Department of Public Safety's courtesy policy. The agency would not address questions about whether the trooper acted appropriately by drawing his stun gun or trying to pull Bland out of the vehicle.

Bland's body was flown back to Chicago in preparation for a funeral on Saturday.

This whole thing is so screwed

up and foul play seems likely, but just to separate meme truths from actual facts- trash bags can and are so allowed in some jails- as seen here in LA

mcj-600.jpg

That's not Texas.

That poster seems to be trying to convince us that trash bags are common in cells. Why that poster is trying to convince us?....I don't know. The photo that he shows is from a prison. Sandra Bland was only in a holding cell. There's a difference.

Dont pay that Matt poster any attention. He's a white troll.

Either some people on here really like engaging this dude in a 'debate' or they just don't know an ignore list exist on this site.

This whole situation is crazy because they charged her with a felony and had her sit in jail for 3 days because the cops lied and said she attacked him. We know that's a lie since the whole video has been leaked.

Somehow this cop still has a job and is working an admin position now
