These crackers are ruthless.Black men they now putting hands on our women and children. So what's up?

When have they not done that? Matter-of-fact they'd make a point to disembowel a pregnant woman while she was hanging and alive...IN FRONT OF THE FATHER.

Secondly, stop being so dramatic. Saying "women & children!" like that somehow makes it worse. As if "her" life means more than "his" life. He killed a BLACK person should be the only concern. No real difference really...

And last, What we gonna do about it? Protest? Make signs? Post? Sign a petition? (-_-)

Me and this lady were friends on Facebook and apart of the same SWAC page together, she had a good spirit and I subscribed to her #SANDYSpeaks blogs, she had a positive outlook and was very passionate about her activism. These crackers are getting more and more ruthless, we gotta get wit em, but we gotta be smart. Like one brother said we gotta spend money In our community, and stand together as a people and stop treating ourselves like shit. The time for unification and standing for something is way past due. R.I.P. Sandy

"We have now learned that Waller County Sheriff Glenn Smith, who made the first public comments about Bland’s in-custody death, was suspended for documented cases of racismwhen he was chief of police in Hempstead, Texas, in 2007. After serving his suspension, more complaints of racism came in, and Smithwas actually fired as chief of police in Hempstead"

He needs to be the first suspect and everyone in his unit.

Smh@the Texas Rangers investigating this like black ppl should trust them. These mf's probably hand & hand with cops who killed this young lady. If the Bland family is smart they'd get a separate investigation going and have a independent autopsy done like Freddy Gray

There's gonna have to come a point in time when nothing else matters to us as a people than justice and equality by any means necessary. Hopefully one day we'll all collectively snap as a people and realize that any material objects or a certain quality of life is not worth living if the orchestrated genocide of your people is happening right before your eyes. Why would a woman drive from Chicago, Illinois to PV, Texas just to commit suicide? This is a war, and if this event, or Charleston, or Baltimore, or Ferguson, or any of the other countless bodies that have been dropped in the last three years hasn't woken you up to this reality then well, Idk when you'll wake up. Rest in Paradise Sandy Bland, may us as a people continue your fighting spirit.

The same people who work everyday along side the officers that commit these crimes. So we all know they are not going to be fair and impartial in the investigation into someone they already know and have some type relationship with. Police feel like that are a band of brothers so they not going to see the bad or worst in their so called brother.

So in essence the shit is not really being investigated. Even when the Feds get involved nothing happens. People always scream for the Feds to get involved like they are not the ones who showed these states how to pull this shit off in the first place.

Agree 100%. We know the police murdered this young lady, and will burn in hell before they indict their own. What's hurtful is the Feds KNOW these rednecks are behind this and will give a half hearted investigation that results into nothing. So the FEDS are protecting these racist killers while innocent black folks continue to die smh. Just like with Alfred Wright. Like what are black ppl supposed to do? We protest, nothing happens. We march, nothing happens. At some point black ppl have to get angry and take action

IMO been past the time to be angry. Its also been time for action. Its a fight that has to be fought on more than one level all at the same time. The actions taken should be economic, political and physical. Those just the easiest to name to be honest. Getting us all organized and having people truly look in the mirror and accept their strengths and weaknesses is going to be tough. You know a person is going to have an idea of the role or duty they want to play but in the grand scheme of things may not be strong enough for the position they want to play. Going to be hard to tell them they are better suited for another position and them not take it as a demotion. But if they really for the betterment of their people they will do it even if they don't like it.

Truthfully IMO we as black people know what we supposed to do. Actually we BEEN knew what we are supposed to be doing. We just haven't it done it. Why we haven't is a deep ass question with many different answers and levels to those answers.

Men women and children all matter in this shit. As black men

the first priority should be women and children. Second we all know what should we do...but will we ever do it.

Getting black ppl on the same page is almost impossible. We are so caught up in our day to day issues, nobody wants to hear what WE as a ppl should do. Walk into any black barbershop and try to discuss black empowerment, or the history of oppression in america, them niggaz rather talk about Des Bryant's new contract smh. I know that's a broad generalization but its true in most cases. We have to learn to think beyond ourselves and more about us as a whole.

Also, these coons that get on TV and talk foolish need to be done away with. Feed them niggaz to the lions. They serve no purpose other than to help destroy their own for monetary purposes.

I don't care what race it is ....white asian or latino when something happens to that race regardless of religious, political, or societal differences. Most will act as a monolith for their race.

Except for us....you shouldn't have to hold meetings just for the sake of trying to get people to organize. It should come natural you should stand by your own

Thing is no group is all on the same page but they are at least reading the same damn book. We not even reading the same damn book!

Truthfully the barbershop not the place for that kind of talk. Now you can get some good strong brothers down for the cause out of the barbershop though.

Lots of black folk are waiting for the next MLK or Malcolm X to save us. It is that savior mentality that makes many of black not want to act. It is better to have a nation of leaders then one leader thay can be coopted and corrupted. We still haven't figure it out yet.
