yeah i'm noticing that shit the more i read it when people repost it in their comments, almost like "justifiable homicide". he doesn't get a pass for being a scumbag but that doesn't mean he should've been shot just for hopping on the train for free.l

But see the police and media will always post things like that in order to distract you from the situation. So that subconciously you're already looking at him like scum and passing judgement before finishing the article.

Anybody could be a "Person of Interest" that doesnt mean you're the suspect. Plus if the story about the pregnant girl was true believe me they would have elaborated on that situation.

Then they say during his trial he was accused of making a 14yr old give him head but obviously it was some bullshit cuz he wasnt convicted of it.

Even if that nigga was guilty of crimes, you can't let him just suffer like that. They should have just killed him off quickly and moved the body, nigga was leaking out mad blood and suffering in front of everybody.

In the case of the murdered pregnant chick, dude was only wanted as a person of interest. For all we know he didn't even do that shit, but decided to run because he knows who did. We don't know. Read the article, and pay attention to how the article is written. The cops had NO IDEA who this cat was until AFTER they killed him. What's also very disgusting about this is that's it's totally a smear campaign on a dead dude.

So clearly a cover up...

this happens all the time, anytime someone is shot, killed, or arrested, if its not the 1st thing mentioned in the story, its the 2nd. A list of all their priors and convictions. They want you to think of the person in a inhumane way.

I think it's the whole "Flashing/Pointing/shooting a gun at cops." thing that's used to "justify" the shooting. The other stuff is the typical "Who was Kenneth Harding?" type of information that the media generally presents when someone becomes relevant to them.

Like when a poster here named "Busayo" got ethered to death, most of the stories presented him as a "dedicated engineering student", even though that likely played no role in his getting shot up in his driveway.

It's all about having some background information to go along with the story.

thats not a fair comparison, Busayo did not get shot up by police ossifers.

It's not a comparison, it's substantiation that the media typically includes background information with their stories; even if the background information did not play a role in the circumstances that made the story a "story" to begin with.

The alternative would be stories like, "Some guy named 'Busayo' got shot in his driveway -- the end." or "Some guy named 'Kenneth Harding' got shot by police -- the end.", with no further information on the people shot.

Not so sure about that, typically if the subject has a criminal background, that information takes precedence over anything else. as demonstrated in this story.Im sure there were many other aspects to this guy's life that were intentionally omitted.

The two factors (in addition to relevance) that determine whether something is included as background information are probably what's readily available and what best sets them apart from other people.

Shit like criminal records and college info are pretty easily obtained. And information like "Kenneth Harding's favorite food was shrimp fettuccine alfredo." or "Busayo stubbed his toe once when he was 17.", wouldn't really answer the typical "Who was Kenneth Harding?"or "Who was Busayo?" type question.

So, in a story about crime, it makes sense that easily-obtainable, crime-related background information--that distinguishes someone from a non-criminal--would be presented.

I wonder why I never had any trouble with the Cops, yet every other black person on this site say they did?People need to start taking responsibility for some of these encounters they have with the cops.

In the Busayo situation tho, there were accounts given by family, and friends in addition to his college background. In any story crime related or not, the best case scenario is to stick to the facts relevant to the current issue, any additional information not specifically related to the issue, is only provided to persuade and or influence the reader to think a certain way about the information provided.
that is all im saying.

dude it aint that cut and dry. I dine been fucked with by police for no reason. Just cuz it didnt happen to u doesnt mean its always the persons fault. Police will fuck with u just in hopes of u having a warrant or a vialation for no reason and they instigate to try and make u lose ur cool. In this situation dude ran. they coulda shot him in the leg . but they lit him up in the neck. I thought deadly force was the last resort. u dont kill no one for running from a $2 bus fare. witness accounts dont match what the cops are saying. then they try and slander dude after the fact. smh..... they watch that dude die on the pavement like a a dog who got hit by a car. shit is fucked up
