I'm bored and want to spend some money. Seriously, this could be interesting. The Reason has been around for well over a decade. It's only natural for certain topics to become stale. I say with total transparency that the traffic here has decreased - that's no secret to anybody.

So why don't we start a campaign to contribute some quality to the Reason that not only we can enjoy, but that can attract more posters who are about the culture?

We can look at the best threads of the month and who they came from. At the end of each month, I'll throw up a poll of names. Everyone will vote for who contributed the most based on the criteria of threads that are most informative, unique, funny, popular, etc. Posters can promote their own threads to get votes, or you can just make some good shit and not give a fuck about this results.

Either way, the winner of each monthly poll, I will personally buy an album of their choosing (iTunes, physical, etc. - can't exceed $19, don't be boujee). I'm sure this will boost the incentive to come up with some unique and creative topics/conversations.

I like this idea. Also we should implement something I saw on Reddit. Like mondays we post tracks from our home town, tuesdays , discuss a rap beef or moment, Wednesday discuss a classic album, Thursday post throwback songs you like and discuss, etc. Bring more discussion back

That's what happens when you keep derailing threads and act annoying just to act annoying. Nobody missed you or noticed you were even gone. Do us a favor and take another break. Forget to come back this time.
