5th Letter- What was the most difficult decision you had to make as a mod?
Sion- Hhhhhmmmmmmm good question, lemme see.... Might have been during the Fazeem and Hrap situation when they got demodded. Cuz Fazeem was cool as shit but I think he's so naturally strong minded that it got overwhelming especially with the power. I had to go against him which was difficult. Other tough decisions were prolly deleting nudes and certain threads by request. I fuckin HATE that shit SMMFH, a lot of chicks get warned on here beforehand but still trade nudes like pokemon cards then act surprised when niggas share em SMMFH. Unless we cool offline I'll do it but I tend to just ignore it overall and let another mod handle it.
5th Letter- Who are some of your favorite rappers?
Sion- It's interesting man, I like rappers more for their persona and then the music. If I had to pick a personal top 5 tho - that I actually listen to right now: 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G, 50 Cent, Kanye West, and I don't really have a 5th but I'll say Z-Ro. It changes but my top 3 always remains the same for the most part.
Gotta throw in ASAP Rocky, ScHoolBoy Q, Logic, Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Drake I like what they're doing with music right now. They're smart and they have likeable personas too. They're their own brands.
5th Letter- How did you get into hip-hop?
Sion- H.earing E.very R.hyme was always apart of my life. I fell in love with HER as a kid, I grew up in a Jamaican household tho so it was mostly Reggae, R&B and then Michael Jackson. The only rapper that got play in our household was Heavy D and Biggie Smalls. Biggie got mad play b/c he was Jamaican and represented it, he was down with Supercat so he got the cosign.
5th Letter- Who are some of your favorite and least favorite posters?
Sion- Favourites ? Prolly @Busta Carmichael and my Legion of Trill fam @T.Sanford, @TonyDubbz, @BrideofChilla and others. Busta is funny af but an awesome poster cuz he can get super smart on yo ass when need be. Definitely gotta say jono, @2step_ahead, @_Goldie_ - and it's amazing what he's done with the IC as a whole. I fall back and let him do his thing, gotta be the hardest working man on the IC right now. You of course, Jamel, Stew, KingGivBiz, BossExcellence, @Abraxas , @(Ob)scene and it's funny cuz Abraxas and OB don't agree with me on some things but that's why I like them. Gotta shout out @Beta, @IceBergTaylor , @GetoBoy there's others too. G.Avant, daboyag1, there's a lot LOLLOLOL. Anyone whose positive I fux with.
Least favourite iuno, maybe S2J, BackInWhite, Gee757, Monizzle and it's never personal, but I feel like their parents dropped them when they were young and it left them "simple". It's amazing to watch cuz they take their idiocy so seriously. BackInWhite isn't so bad tho at least he has a sense of humour *shrugs*.
5th Letter- You do the end of year threads in the donkey what's the process like putting that together?
Sion- I used to write it down for future reference but I kept losing the papers. Plus I'm not in the Donkey like that so I always get help putting it together. It often ends up being a process of elimination for the biggest events. I always have to get the stories straight so people don't get mad but it's all in good jest so yeah LOOLOLOL.
5th Letter- How did they approach you to give you access to put content on the main page?
Sion- It originally started with Jay & GrouchyGreg, he was trying to link the social media aspect of AHH and the IC as one so they were looking for content producers. Jay hit me up about it to put me on and from there I assembled a team consisting of G.Avant, daboyag1, Kellmill and Big_Therm. We then began writing articles and after a few months we got 100% full access to it. We got dibs on albums so we could write reviews before everyone. It got so big that we held a monopoly over content reviews, we later got a shout out from Big KRIT, J.Cole and other folks in the industry. We even had the chance to interview members of D12 and much more. Nowadays we work on Greg's other projects and not so much on the front page. But I owe all of that to _Jay_, he put me in the position to win and I just had to bring the effort.
5th Letter- If you could be in charge of the IC what changes would you make?
Sion- Hhhmmmm this should be fun bwahahahaha !!! I'd rid the IC of all the fuck niggas. I would make it where actual thread posts appear in AHH articles on the front page whenever the article's title is quoted in a thread and have the mods moderate them. I would make StoneColdMikey, Trillfate and Busta Carmichael mods. I would put my business section on the front page under a heading for business.
5th Letter- Where did you get the idea for your drawn out lols?
Sion- Iuno there's no rhyme or reason behind it LOLOLOL
5th Letter- What was the craziest thing you've witnessed on the IC since being here?
Sion- Hhhmmmm the iHeartCali and Shenco ETHERING. Cali I had never seen anything like that before it was bananas. Not b/c of the exposure itself but b/c of her "secret life" she was at work popping off too. Shenco was the funniest thread I'm happy I witnessed and I literally passed out like 4 times laughing. I had legit headaches from that thread. It's the only time I've ever seen the entire IC put aside differences and work together. You even had people from CHEAP SEATS coming in to roast him.
