Real talk, why does the big man get the benefit of the doubt for DPOY in the NBA?

He's playing on a team with Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson and they are top 5 in points allowed. That should say something about him controlling the paint and helping keep slashers from getting easy buckets

I agree with you though. Leading league in boards and blocks sounds nice but holding Kobe to 9-29 shooting is harder than holding Sam Dalembert to 2-5 shooting

there aint a stat to count up how many times u lock somebody up and shit....but Rebounds and blocks are stats you can look at when doin the DPOY...Dwight prolly wont even get it this year, Josh Smith will
