It does sound like the battery my old smart phone behaves the same way because the battery. Overheats easily, charges slow and drains quickly.

Took the controller back to the GAME store. Luckily my proof of purchase was linked with my loyalty reward card.

Sadly lost the 20th Anniversary controller as they no longer stock it. Had to settle with this instead...

I was one of them I had to cop a new controller. The controllers are $60 new and used at gamestop. Fuck gamestop I purchased a red one at walmart

Man I had this happen to me on like 3 different controllers. I think it's because when I'm gaming I just use my cell phone charger since it's right there to keep on playing.

Easy remedy. Get the same one from Walmart pay cash and return your old one with receipt. Get money back and a new controller free. I've done it like 4x. One time forgot to return the controller in allotted time but hey still up 180.. Ya they ask for license or whatever but they never called me back yet. Stay getting Walmart on that kind of shit lol
