As far as the struggles of black folks I think we've come a long way. Much of the problems we face these days has more to do with culture and class than race. Not to say that racism does not exist because that shit is alive and well BUT it is not institutionalized. The playing field isn't equal but the opportunities are there waiting to be exploited.
You are sadly mistaken .. Niggas arent getting killed by cops harassed.. followed around stores , denied loans.. because they have their income in dollars tatted across their foreheads.. Institutional racism is so prevalent and apparent.. i guess its become expected.. but no institutionalized racism. Its not as caustic and firey as it was before but it is ever present.. Now this doesnt give one license to curl up and die but it is very much there.. This threads bout to blow with that one..
