as u can see the knicks took 20 steps back i won't be surprised if mike n donnie resign by the end of this season...

Afflalo is the man!

Miami would kill for one of those big men right now. They alright in that category pimpn. They just need one dominating scorer that plays defense and doesn't slow down the tempo of the game. They have the bench, big men, and role players.

I don't know if they need a "dominating scorer". We're used to seeing that, but people forget about teams like the Pistons of last decade who split scoring between Billups, Rip, and Prince without either one ever averaging more than 20 points a game.

The problem with these teams is psychological. So many of them "think" they have no chance since they don't have a "star" and in a league like the NBA where everybody is talented, the mental game is the most important. That Pistons team didn't give a fuck if their top scorers were not superstars and their best player was basically a journeyman (Billups). If Denver can capture that attitude - they might do some thangs.

Spurs had Tim Duncan and David in their championship years. I'll include them if they win this year. (long way to go)

Tim averaged 20/11 and still demanded double teams from opposing defenses. The Pistons in the '00s never had a scorer that was really double-team-worthy.

that team is gonna be a problem in the playoffs, i think they could upset any of the top teams besides the lakers, felton/lawson might be the best pg combo in the league, chandler/gallinari is one of the best sf combos and chandler is flexible he can play big if they need him to, their not big enough to beat the lakers but i think they could take out the spurs or dallas, spurs will be exposed in the playoffs, jefferson and blair just aint gonna get it done when the game speeds up

Game dosent speed up it actually slows down. And jefferson and blair are starters for the most uptempo team in the league and thats not getting it done?

I've seen them ball. They're gonna be OK.

Are they going to be one of the "power" teams in the West? No.

But they will be a consistently good team, and even in the playoffs. They're #5 right now.

I like to call them "Sixers West"...a ton of role players, all of which can get 10-15 a game with a potential star (Affalo/Holiday) in the making, and a pretty decent coach.
