Yeah I easily saw that becoming the new "strategy."

But yeah I'm was watching this on The Ed Show and 5 republicans voted against it. The democrats needed 7. They actually removed republicans who were in opposition off committees to get it passed.

How are ya'll liking those tax cuts for the rich? You know, those same tax cuts that are now bankrupting counties and states everywhere??

Give the rich tax breaks they don't need, give corporate welfare to rich corporations, and make middle class workers suffer. Sounds very American to me.

You know what's worse, is that it will never change. The moment somebody introduces a bill to end it, the other side will just leave the state lol.

the way i see it, if our politicians are just going to be completely ridiculous about politics, they might as well just fully commit and get into some Asian-style brawls during legislative sessions

ps. insert serious contrast between Democrats hating on filibustering and celebrating on "fleeing the state" or whatever you call it here. reverse as necessary for Republicans. once it sinks in that these are the legitimate positions of adults in charge of running the country, suicide may seem like a reasonable option.
