This girl I know played me the Rihanna version since I'm not into her music. Trying to make me a believer and I just laughed cause she thought it was so original. Put her onto Tame Impala and she lost respect for Rihanna for not trying to at least put her own twist on it.

Best music has been underground or under most people's radar for over a decade now. Across all genres. Like I was bumping O.C.'s Trophies the other day and my neighbor was like "this is one of the best new rappers I've ever heard." SMH

Most people miss out cause they prejudge it as boring just cause they're ignorant about it. Then when a Taylor Swift covers a 4 year old Washed Out or M83 song they're the same ones to act like it's some revelation.
