when i was in middle school, i got a athletic & academic scholarship to go to this all boy prep catholic school on some lacrosse shit that is literally less than a mile from my house...

but all i could think about was going to a all white school wearing a uniform and it being no chicks there...

so i just wilded out until my mom let me go to public school

shit was borderline retarded..if i could go back in time i might be inclined to beat the shit outta my 13-year old self...

i mean i made a few mistakes as an adult.... but i've learned a whole lot from them shits...

5 years ago, passing up a potential admin job at a video game company paying 60k, for a recruiting job I accepted a day before payin 41k

ignored my gut instincts...and trusted some people with some shit.....learned the hard way that just cuz someone is related to you...it doesnt make them family

Went into some real estate businesses with some niggas I was cool with. I saw the signs it was flawed but I was young and trying to flip paper..

Still a headache to this day.

gotta agree with this. them refinery jobs are a lick hidden in plain sight. If i could go back in time, I'd work in them plants. cats is out here makein doctor money with an associates degree. i got an uncle that just does security in the plant that pulls $90k (last I heard). I could imagine what he'd make if he was the ones out there opening valves. My dad retired on a 6 figure buy out when the refinery he worked at was sold. smh @ me not wanting to be one of the few people from my class still in lake charles; I'd be taking month long vacations to Asia right now. smh at me realizing you not exaggerating by saying millions.

lol where should I start?

should have got good grades in secondary school...I didn't care enough to do the exams

same with college

then I would have been able to go to any uni I wanted and done a course I cared about

should never have picked animation

should have stuck with it after I picked it

should never have dropped out

Love life

Should have got with Paris when we were 11

Should have got with Shakira when we were 16

Should have got with Jadey when we were 21

Should not have slept with at least 67% of the hoes I have...smh my life has been one bad decision after another

I went to undergrad at an HBCU thinking that was heaven for a black man, and it was tight no doubt. Then I went to a majority institution for grad school and realized those are heaven for a black man. First of all, there actually are snowbunnies there if that's your thing. However, even if you're like me and prefer women who aren't melanin deficient, you still come out on top. Black women outnumber black men in college so much at some places that some of those chicks will willingly share a dude just to have some companionship. It's crazy.

damn fam you from l.c.? so you already know the story of how these, niggas that work at the plant living. you should try to get hired on still cause alot of the baby boomers are about to retire

i should be slapped for some of the broads i've fucked with in the past smh

i should be slapped again for all the money i blew (literally) before i got a grip....

i was dead ass wrong for still tryin to hustle when my daughter was on the way....still payin for that b.s. now

I'm considering it, I live in fort worth now but i would love to move back to along I-10 anywhere between houston and Lafayette especially since louisiana is experimenting with that sugar cane gas. I encourage every dude I meet from the area to get that p-tech degree. it's 2 years and there's some fuckin back woods retards that got it that make sick cash. So if you got any sense you'd fall right in. I worked security at a refinery at night during undergrad. I did more work than half them dudes. All they do is eat, sleep, and kick it. One of the patrol men hit a goose with their truck, them boys plucked it, cooked it and ate it.

Christianity..

my friend tried to tell me it was bullshit and i never believed him.. wasnt tryin to hear nothin he had to say..

What are something/s you look back at now and see you were just flat out wrong about? Were you misinformed or simply being stubborn and not trying to see another person's point of view? Not talking about admitting it to others, just admitting to yourself you know you were wrong...

I usually say fuck it, move on, and forget about such things. Time only moves forward.
